I am fortunate to have the chance in helping the students to acquire the required technical accounting
competencies and sharing with them the importance of sharpening their critical thinking skills and embracing

reports on accounting fraud scandals in China-based companies. To put it across bluntly, these reports
are ex-post and the harm has been done. What the public needs is ex-ante reports to identify these
