This document summarizes the biblical story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. It describes how Lazarus became ill and died, despite Jesus receiving a message from his sisters Mary and Martha. When Jesus arrived in Bethany four days later, he went to Lazarus' tomb and called out "Lazarus, come forth." Lazarus then emerged from the tomb still bound in grave clothes. Many witnesses came to faith in Jesus after seeing this miraculous sign. The document reflects on how this event showed Jesus' power over death and his compassion for those he loved.
One of the greatest miracles that Christ performed on this earth was the resurrection of Lazarus from the grave, depicted in the gospel of John Chapter 11. By doing so, many of the people’s eyes were opened and they believed that Christ was in fact God. So who was this Lazarus?
The baptism of Jesus is a significant event. We see the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit manifested in the one place at the one time. it also marks the beginning of the public ministry of Jesus Christ.
Presentation on the topic "Resurrection of Jesus" . Contains word study of the word "resurrection", harmonization of the Gospel accounts and historical evidence for the death, empty tomb and post-mortem appearances of Jesus.

Why did God give the Law - so high, So demanding, So unreasonable humanly speaking that no body (no man, no woman, no boy, no girl) has ever been able to keep them?
PRAYER,
Almighty and everlasting God,
you despise nothing you have made
and forgive the sins of all who are penitent.
Create and make in us new and contrite hearts,
that we, worthily lamenting our sins
and acknowledging our brokenness,
may obtain of you, the God of all mercy,
perfect remission and forgiveness;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
John's gospel was written around 90AD. He assumes his readers know the basic facts of Jesus life. His purpose is to highlight that Jesus was and is the Son of God and that belief in Him will give eternal life.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

3. Let us Reflect from
the miraculous work
of our Savior,
Jesus Christ
4. Lazarus and his two
sisters, Mary and
Martha, were friends of
Jesus. When Lazarus fell
ill, his sisters sent a
message to Jesus, "Lord,
the one you love is sick.
5. When Jesus
arrived in
Bethany,
Lazarus had
already
been dead
and in the tomb for four days.
6. When Martha saw
Jesus, she went out to
meet him. "Lord," she
said, "if you had been
here, my brother would
not die”.
8. Jesus said these important
words: "I am the resurrection
and the life.
He who
believes in me
will live, even though he dies;
and whoever lives and believes
in me will never die."
9. When Mary met
Jesus she was
grieving with
strong emotion
over her brother's
death. The Jews
with her were
mourning.
10. Jesus then went to the tomb
with Mary, Martha and the rest
of the mourners. There he
asked them to remove the
stone that covered burial place.
11. Jesus looked up to
heaven and prayed
to his Father,
closing with
the words:
12. "Lazarus, come out!"
When Lazarus came out
of the tomb,
Jesus told the
People to remove his
grave clothes.
13. As a result of
this incredible
miracle, many
people put their
faith in Jesus.
14. Let us Reflect from
the miraculous work
of our Savior,
Jesus Christ
16. Through the raising of
Lazarus, Jesus showed the
disciples, and the world, that
he had power over death.
Many believed that Jesus
was the Son of God and they
put their faith in him after
seeing this miracle.
17. Jesus revealed his
compassion for people
through a genuine display
of emotion. Even though
he knew that Lazarus
would live, he was still
moved to weep with the
ones he loved.
18. He was not timid to show
emotion and we should
not be ashamed to
express our true feelings
to God. Like Martha and
Mary, we can be
transparent with God
because he cares for us.
19. In conclusion, let us
realize that while the
account of the raising of
Lazarus is indeed
moving, Christ can and
shall raise all the dead
on the last day.
