This document outlines a research project on the situation of farmers in Maharashtra. It will study the problems farmers face, the government schemes available to help, and the impact of those schemes. The research will use a descriptive cross-sectional design with primary data collected through questionnaires and secondary data from literature and sources. The objective is to identify the main problems, study government solutions, and understand the benefits of those schemes. The hypothesis is that government schemes have a favorable impact on productivity, while the null hypothesis is there is no relationship between problems, behaviors, and schemes. Independent variables include environment and costs, while dependent is suicide and intervening is mental stress.
