Family Treatment Plan
One thing to understand when dealing with addictions within the family system is that there are
many different types of families from nuclear, single parent, same sex etc.., and the effects that
addiction has varies within these different family system. There is no one way of creating or
approaching a set treatment plan. Therefore it is imperative that the addiction counselor or worker
complete a thorough assessments and evaluations of the family in order to create a individualize
therapy, recovery and continued after treatment care. Through initial assessments information that
may be key to a successful treatment plan for the addict can be ascertained. Issues that can be
counteractive to overall treatment goals such as the economic,

Plan Houston
The city that I chose to use for Planning in my Hometown was Houston, my actual hometown that I
have a lot of love for. Houston is located in south east Texas about an hour and a half north of the
Gulf of Mexico. Houston is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and its population
in 2016 was 2,239,558 which that keeps Houston in its spot as the fourth largest city in the United
States. There are 25 city departments in Houston covering all different topics that effect our city. In
Houston we do a Planning and Development department which is in charge of our planning–related
issues. There are other departments that may have a little control over planning such as our
Neighborhood department, Parks and Recreation department, ect, ... Show more content on

Not only are there online tools but they use Plan Houston's findings to help with city organization. It
is recommended that there be assessments that track priorities and funding so they can make sure the
plan is being implemented correctly, it also helps create a framework for a successful and lively city.
The goal that I find most important that Houston is working on achieving is "Celebrate what's
uniquely Houston". The desired result of this goal is to highlight Houston's unique elements and
character, our arts, sports teams, history, and events. This is very important to me because I have a
passion for Houston, it is my home and where I would like to raise my family, so promoting what
my city has to offer is a big deal to me. Houston's plan of action to "Celebrate what's uniquely
Houston" is to: "Maintain a plan for supporting arts and culture. Seek additional means to support
and promote arts and culture organizations locally and internationally. Ensure that all Houstonians
have access to art and culture attractions. Celebrate Houston's past and present diversity and culture
through City activates, events and publications. Encourage and support attractive public spaces and

Military Family Psychoeducation Plan
The scenario my psychoeducation plan will be based off of is the couple, who are parents of 4
children and have just been informed that they will be experiencing their first deployment. The first
deployment milestone for military families is an extremely stressful and scary time, however with
resources and support stress can be minimized. When working with a service member and their
family before their deployment it is important provide psycho–education on the impact the
deployment will have on the service member, their spouse/partner, and on their children.
According to Milliken, Auchterlonie, & Hoge, 2007, soldiers returning from combat operations are
at a high risk for returning home and developing PTSD, depression, suicidal ideation, interpersonal

When working with a family who has their first deployment, it is important to help reinforce their
ability to respond to the challenges they may encounter throughout the deployment cycle.
Deployment has been may have an impact on parent–child interactions for those who are deployed,
as well as for caregivers remaining at home. It is important to provide psychoeducation on the
impact the deployment may have on the family, such as separation and transitions, relationship
challenges, mental health difficulties and substance abuse. It is important to educate and provide
resources regarding this because research indicated that the role of parenting practices in the
relationship between family stressors can have a direct impact on the child behavioral/emotional
problems (Palmer, 2008). I would also provide resources on Family Service Centers, such as the
Navy Fleet and Family Support Center. These centers can provide support and education about
resiliency and military life. Child Serv, which is an organization piloting the Military Family
Initiative, is another resource that would be helpful as it offers services for early childhood

Genogram
The blueprint to family structure. Genogram an updated approach of researching conjectural family
events. It is also a road map for individuals to connect and note relationship patterns of multiple
generations. Moreover, it gives meaning to why family life cycles are disrupted in some area and
strong in others. As people study their family circle they gain understanding of how multiple
generations are influenced by the core values of family structure. In addition, with more in–depth
inquiries, individual could trace how religion, social norms, historical events, rituals, tragedies, and

Diligence should be placed on the delicate and fragile similarities of physical, social, and
psychological disorder or dysfunction throughout segment of each generation. For the most part,
health alter how "human experiences are framed by the interlocking nature of individual trajectories
and kinship networks in the context of temporal motion, culture, and social change" (McGoldrick,
Preto, & Carter, 2016, p. 1).
Looking at family structure, early generations raised their children with stay at home mothers,
working fathers, and neighbors as extended family. The middle generations have the complexity of
expanding their immediate family, managing elderly care, and later down the line supporting their
older children and their extended families. The younger generations are consumed with self–
insecurity with the need to feel wanted.
Although throughout life transitions–boundaries change, family relationship become strained, and
roles within family dynamics are constantly being altered and redefined. Family dynamic does not
consist of mother, father, and biological child or children. People are no longer calling or identifying
their family as biological connection, but individuals they form a connecting bond with that are not
genetically connected. In other word, there are major diverse integral role in marriages, immediate
and extended families.

Description of the Client
Buddy Herman is a 16–year–old Caucasian male, he is thin with a pale complexion. He is returning

homes and residential treatment facilities for behavioral issues. He is in high school and has
attended school within these programs. He displays a nervous attitude towards moving back in with

During our individual counseling sessions, I frequently focused on his interests, abilities, and how
he solved past issues. I used this skill to hone Buddy's focus and motivation on positive growth and
development and impart in him the possibility of constructive change. I used this perspective in
family counseling sessions as well, zeroing in on the family's potential and assets helped to
empower each individual member and solidify their place as part of a cohesive unit.
Throughout the treatment, I worked to identify the problems that were plaguing Buddy and the
Herman family. As certain challenges had existed for quite some time it was an ongoing process
pulling back each layer and building trust with Buddy to discover the who, what, why, and how. I
worked to understand how the issues impacted Buddy's functioning in school, with his family, and
behavioral wise. Once I was able to identify the effect on Buddy we were able to work together to
form solutions and properly meet the identified goals. Appendix

Patient / Family Medication Teaching Plan
Patient/Family Medication Teaching Plan As nurses we need to help our patient's meet their new
health goals upon being discharged from the hospital. One of the things we will need to provide
them with is the necessary medication teaching for new medications as it relates to their diagnosis
and to any changes if any, to their current medications. One of the first things necessary for us to do
is to look at our patient completely. That means we need to look at the patient's current situation,
their background, develop a nursing diagnoses, set personalized goals that are measurable and has
reachable outcomes, determine possible necessary interventions, foreseeable patient, family and
culture concerns, other possible barriers and also be able to evaluate the plan of care. Assessment

Evidence Based Project Implementation Plan
Section F: Implementation Plan An implementation plan is the management guide that helps design
the necessary steps while starting a project (United States Department of Health & Human Services,
n.d.). The steps of an efficient implementation plan comprise of planning the course of action,
engaging the stakeholders, carrying out the implementation as per the plan and evaluating the
implementation process (Spring, Ferguson, Pender, & Starin, n.d.). So, to implement my evidence–
based project plan, I will follow these steps.

They need the pay for the additional time spent on making the follow–up calls to the patients every
week. This will be approximately 50 dollars per hour. There is a need for an estimated cost of
10,000 dollars to meet this requirement for about 200 patients for the entire project period. Other
than this expense, there is no other cost incurred in the implementation plan. Diabetic patients can
avail the glucometer and strips at free of cost from their health insurance. This EBP project plan is a
part of the postoperative care. Hence, the nurses can use the hospital telephone, stationery items, and
the computer for free of cost. The hospital administration will allow the use of power point as the
purpose is to give the in–service education to the nurses. The leadership will make arrangements for
the presentation development because it serves to improve the service quality. The library and
database access are free of cost for the employees. There is no travel involved in this plan. The
estimated cost to manage an SSI can go up to 30,000 per case (Urban, 2006). Therefore, from the
factors mentioned above, it is evident that the implementation plan is

Verizon : A Better Prepaid Essay
In May 2016 Verizon released a new commercial for a prepaid plan to compete with the cell phone
providers such as AT&T, Sprint, and others. The 2016 Verizon commercial was titled "Verizon: A
Better Prepaid". Its purpose was to let the audience believe that Verizon's product was the best on
the market for the prepaid plans that are available. However, this is a common claim among
companies regardless of what the product they are selling is. Therefore, Verizon needed to create a
commercial that was both memorable and affective, and they did just that with their latest ad. With
the ever–growing competition in today's economy, instead of bringing something fresh to the table,
Verizon's marketing crew boldly brought back some old, and somewhat forgotten popular tunes that
appeal to the 80's and 90's kids. This technique was useful in drawing in a specific audience and
initiating a positive feeling of nostalgia in them, which in return gave Verizon's ad a boost in the
eyes of its viewers. It is small things like this that marketing teams strive to put into in their work.
Along with their superior use of marketing techniques, Verizon offers a wide variety of information
about their product. According to Verizon's official website, their new prepaid plan offers 4G LTE
coverage. However, their information regarding this product varies depending on where you receive
your information. Nevertheless, Verizon created a successful advertisement to make revenue for
their company, and

Personal Narrative : A Short Story
=One day Breanna was on her way to the store. She was going to the store for some clothes and
food. Breanna is seventeen years old and loves shopping. When she got to the store she saw two
security guards. She was a little confused but didn't worry about it. When she was about to go inside
the store one of the guards stopped her. Then she could not believe what she heard.
"I am sorry ma'm but you can not come into this store" said the guard. "What!? Why!" said Breanna.
"It is now against the law for a women to come inside a store without a male adult with you" said
the guard. "What! That is so unfair!!" said Breanna feeling anger boil in her blood. "I understand
how you are feeling ma'am but unless you have a male adult with you then I will have to ask you to
leave" said one of the guards. Then in that moment Breanna stormed off.
Right when Breanna got home she went straight to her mom. When she saw her mom she told her
everything. When her mom heard what happened the news she was just as confused and shocked as
Breanna. "Mom we should really do something about this" exclaimed Breanna. "Honey, we should
just give it some time" said her mom. "Breanna I am not talking about this with you!" said her mom
starting to get angry. "Ok fine mom!" said Breanna.
The next day Breanna started texting all of her friends about the new law. The first person she texted

Becoming A Pediatric Oncology Nurse
Ever since I was a child, I have been encouraged to plan ahead. Every aspect of my childhood was
filled with planning, such as when I went to bed or what I would wear the next day. This is mostly
due to the effect of my parents getting divorced. I had to start planning my life out based on the
circumstance of switching between houses. As a child, I learned the substantial value that planning
has on my life. As I got older I started to come to the realization that plans often do not go exactly as
contrived. Sometimes, the plans I have made will alter in some way, or drop all together, resulting in
an enormous amount of stress. This was the case when I decided to change my choice in career my
senior year of high school. Most of my life I had been working toward the goal of being a dance
teacher, but while watching a medical drama about kids with cancer, I soon realized my desire to be
a pediatric oncology nurse was stronger than my love for dance. With that decision, all of my plans
had entirely changed. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Following Treatment Plan Will Look At The Jarrett...
The following treatment plan will look at the Jarrett family, an upper–class family that struggles
with the death of the oldest son, Buck. After the last harsh confrontation with her husband (Calvin),
Beth decided to run away to Houston and leave the family. Without knowing if Beth wants to come
back, Calvin and Conrad join therapy to face this delicate situation. By considering this information,
our treatment plan will look at their family dynamics from three theoretical perspectives: Bowenian
family therapy, Structural Family therapy, and Cognitive–Behavioral Family Therapy.
Step 1: Select a Problem List
Calvin and Conrad express their concerns in term of lack of relationship with Beth. Conrad thinks
he is responsible and guilty in regarding of her mother's decision to leave to Texas. He also blames
her mother to be neglectful, hostile, and coward. Besides, Conrad mentions that he is unable to re–
establish friendships with Joe, Kevin, and other members of the swimming team.
Calvin thinks that Beth's unwillingness to come back and join them in therapy is a threat to their
relationship. He describes himself as powerless and abandoned by her. Also, Calvin is worried about
Conrad well–being. He believes Conrad is too sensitive and does not want he blames himself as the
reason for the marriage crisis.
Behind the communication barrier with Beth, there are hidden problems. Conrad is still dealing with
many side effects of Buck's death, such as constant guilt, anger, and

False Prince Quotes
"My father said a person can be educated and still be stupid, and a wise man can have no education
at all" (ch. 6) is a quote from the book The false Prince, by Jennifer A. Nielsen. I think this quote
connects to the characters through representing the differences in Tobias, Roden and Sage, through
reflecting Conner's personality and plan and through describing Verldegrath and his plans for
Carthya's future.
The quotes shows and represents the relationship between Tobias, Roden and Sage. From all the
three boys, Tobias is the most educated one. However, throughout the book, he is not the one
making the wisest decisions.
**option 1** " 'Do you fight on, knowing you'll likely die, or stop the battle and beg for your
opponent's mercy?' Conner turned to me. 'Sage?' 'Beg mercy.' Roden snorted. I continued. 'Then
when my opponent lowers his guard, certain of his victory, I'd finish the battle.' Conner laughed."
When Conner asks this question to all three boys, Tobias and Roden simply answer one of the
options. Sage however thought of the wiser and smarter option. I think the part from the text shows
how Sage thinks above what others expect him to and is very wise in making decisions, even ...

from the text is the moment where Conner reveals his plan to the three boys. I think this plans

Similarities Between Proctor And Gamble And Unilever
Proctor and Gamble vs. Unilever Over the past decades creating corporate social responsibility has
become very important to companies in order to compete in their industries. It has become obvious
to the public that corporations have so much power in society; so corporations efforts to improve
society has become a necessity to many consumers. Corporate social responsibility is defined in our
textbook as, "a business concern for society's welfare"(Lamb, Hair, McDaniel 2017). When taking a
look at Proctor and Gamble and Unilever's goals to create stronger corporate social responsibility in
society I have identified a few major similarities and differences. First we will talk about a few of
the similarities that have been identified in these company's plans. One similarity shared between
these company's plans is their focus on Gender inclusiveness. Unilever's goal is to empower 5
million women by 2020, while P&G is also focusing on empowering women in many ways. One of
the ways is by promoting work for women within the firm, in India they claim to have 30% of their
plant workforce being women. Another similarity can be seen in their focus on enhancing lives
through out the world. A Forbes article about Unilever outlined that, "the washing brand Persil has
helped 10m children get an education whilst cleaning bleach Domestos has helped 5m people gain
access to toilets"(Feller 2016). P&G has also shown is commitment to improving lives by teaming
up with Habitats for Humanity to provide shelter for low–income families. According to Habitats
website, "Nearly 2,000 P&G employees have built, repaired or cleaned homes with 12,000 families"
(Proctor and Gamble 2015). The last similarity that I have found is both companies have set their
goals for 2020 and have tracked their progress over the years. Unilever has focused on its three main
goals and have further divided these goals into 50 goals in order to track their progress. P&G has
done a similar thing by creating sub goals within each of their four major goals. Both company's
track and reported yearly progress for each of these goals.
There are a few major differences between P&G's and Unilever's plans. First off Unilever focus

AGGREGATE PLANNING:
Aggregate planning is the process of developing, analyzing, and maintaining a preliminary,

schedule is intended to satisfy the demand forecast at a minimum cost. Properly done, ... Show more

This could result in a considerable amount of hiring, firing or laying off of employees; insecure and
unhappy employees; increased inventory carrying costs; problems with labour unions; and erratic
utilization of plant and equipment. It also implies a great deal of flexibility on the firm 's part. The
major advantage of a chase strategy is that it allows inventory to be held to the lowest level possible,
and for some firms this is a considerable savings. Most firms embracing the just–in–time production
concept utilize a chase strategy approach to aggregate planning.
Most firms find it advantageous to utilize a combination of the level and chase strategy. A
combination strategy (sometimes called a hybrid or mixed strategy) can be found to better meet
organizational goals and policies and achieve lower costs than either of the pure strategies used
independently.
TECHNIQUES FOR AGGREGATE PLANNING
Techniques for aggregate planning range from informal trial–and–error approaches, which usually
utilize simple tables or graphs, to more formalized and advanced mathematical techniques. William
Stevenson 's textbook Production/Operations Management contains an informal but useful trial–
and–error process for aggregate planning presented in outline form. This general procedure consists
of the following steps: 1. Determine demand for each period. 2. Determine capacity for each period.
This capacity should match demand, which

Jointly owned assets can be a very challenging thing to deal with after someone dies. Any jointly
owned property with a spouse will be easy to figure out, since chances are that you'll want the
property to go to the other person. This includes your house, car, or land that you own.
Unfortunately, other items are much harder to divide when jointly owned. For example, a small
business that is owned by two people will have another owner to contend with. While the other
owner may feel like they deserve to inherit the other half of the company, you may have your own
thoughts on who you want to leave it for. Disputes like these will be settled in probate.
Be sure you get documentation for jointly owned assets that states how all owners agree for the asset
to be divided after someone's death. This will help avoid any disputes later on.

ERO Meeting Summary
A meeting was held on Monday, August 3, 2015 regarding a new beginning for ERO and its
structural change. The intention of this meeting was to begin a process of teamwork and to build on
strengths of the caseworkers and supervisors; as well as looking at cases from a different perspective
and improving performance outcomes. At that time, the decision was placed on hold as there were
expressions of concern that the two units identified and the caseworkers wish to remain in their
current units.
A subsequent meeting was held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 to discuss the identified concerns.
With the support of the Clinical Manager and Regional Office Director, it was agreed by the

Involvement Plan For Family Analysis
Family Involvement Plan
Multiculturalism in today's society has become more prominent and something that needs to be
addressed based on specific as well as on an individual level based on many different aspects. There
are lots of different actions that can be taken, classes, seminars, books, internet webinars and such.
However; I believe that none of this is effective without the interaction and hands on approach from
the parents, famiies, teachers and the school administration itself. We can all sit back and
quarterback a situation, but until it is in our own lap, we don't know how or what we would do to
assure that the children that this effects is provided with the equal educational opportunities that they
deserve. I believe that first ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We currently use a Parent–Teacher Partnerhip program. We create classroom study teams where
parents and sudents get together to form study groups. This not only familiarizes families with one
another, but also gets them involved in their childs learning in a fun way. We have school advisory
groups where parents can go for advice or help where they feel at a loss or are just looking for
guidance. Multicultural planning sessions have also bee a success. I have to say that one of the most
effective and easiest to put into place and keep up with in our already crazy school day is the Parents
as Resource Persons group. This group provides cultural items such as pictures, recipes and
experiences to the classroom. The teacher then integrates learning from the derived materials
creating reading lists, learning centers and even have gone as far as to create a cultural fair. A few
other things that I found to be interesting and feel would be a great asset are a School–Family
Curriculum. This group provides those in need with various items to stimulate conversation about
their cultures. There are also Anti–Bias Alert programs which will alert parents when television
programs are appropriate or inappropriate to view based on cultural diversity. Parent education
support groups work in many positive ways, setting appropriate and meaningful goals, setting up

Individualized Family Service Plan
An Individualized Family service plan was designed for children ages birth to age 3. Special
education services requirements, have to be established by a professional in order for a plan to

in their child's development. During infancy and toddler years' children diagnoses are identified as a
child having developmental delays, instead of a child with a specific diagnosis. Interventions,
support, and services, are provided from health and human services. Education is also a service that
is supported in an IFSP.

Design A Service Plan For A Family
Design a service plan for this family. The following should be addressed in the service plan: (a)
State your general goals (3) in working with this family (Ex. Goal 1, Goal 2 etc.). (b) State
(SMART) objectives (2 for each goal) related to each goal and identify specific changes in the
situation that might lead to accomplishing the above goals (Ex. For Goal 1 (Objective 1, Objective
2). (c) What actions (at least 2 tasks for each objective) should be taken by the worker, the clients,
and/or others to operationalize your objectives (Ex. Objective 1 (Tasks: Worker will....Client will...)?
Who will do what when? My Goals (1) I will like for Jackie and Larry Smith to establish a better
communication method with Janerio and Alexis. (2) I will offer Janerio one on one counseling. (3) I
want the family to set goals of the own, things that they want to see change and how they are going
to get it done.
Specific Measureable Achievable Realistic Time limited

having is verbal communication. Each week I will meet with the family to reflect on what was
discussed to established goals and to see what goals have been met and what goals needs to be

Meeting At The Council Chambers Of The Durham Town Hall Essay
On Wednesday, October 26th, 2016, I attended the Durham planning board meeting located at the
Council Chambers of the Durham Town Hall. The meeting began at 7:00pm and went till 10:05 pm.
The planning board members that were present are as follows: Andrew Corrow, Chair, William
McGowan, Vice Chair, Barbara Dill, Jim Lawson, Town Council Rep., Lorne Parnell, Paul
Rasmussen, Alan Bennett, Council Alternate, Bob Brown, Alternate, Wayne Lewis, Alternate,
Michael Behrendt, Town Planner and Victoria Parmele, Minute Taker. Roughly 30 attendees came to
the meeting, including citizens with an interest in the community and intention to speak, as well as
the general public. The process first began with a call to order, followed by a roll call and then the
seating of alternates. There was then an approval of agenda items, a report given by the town
planner, reports from the board members, and then the board members opened the floor to public
comments, which none were given. Before the issues were addressed there was a review of old
minutes, and selection of a new secretary. Following the agenda items, the issues were presented.
David Newhall, who is a perspective lot buyer, brought the first issue to attention, which was asking
for approval to construct a driveway, and water and electric utilities for a new single–family house.
This new development would occur within the Wetland Conservation Overlay District and this
proposal was the final action of this movement. The board members

The Treatment Plan For The Winters Family
The treatment plan I have developed to treat the Winters family is a structured and brief plan that
will be based on a three phase EFFT treatment. The initial phase is where I will create a working
alliance with the family expressing empathy using RISSSC techniques. With RISSSC, I will repeat
key words and phrases the client says, use images to capture emotions that words cannot, use simple
words, maintain a slow pace, use a soft voice to encourage a deeper experience, and adopt client's
words in a validating way (Gehart, 2014). I will also identify the negative interaction cycle, and
resolution strategies to resolve conflict (Gehart, 2014) In the working phase, I will work to increase
emotional expression and engagement of withdrawn family members in the Winters family. If I
increase engagement and emotional expression of withdrawn members, this will likely reduce
conflict and avoidance. I will use enactments to allow for acceptance and direct communication of
needs between family members. With these enactments, the clients can articulate their needs and
establish new interaction sequences. I will also strengthen the skill of family members to react to
each other in manners that establish a sense of relational safety and bonding (Gehart, 2014).
This kind of responding is also done in occurrences of conflict to reduce depressed mood, anxiety,
or conflict. In the closing phase, I will develop an aftercare plan to improve the family's skill of

1.1 Explain the importance of a holistic approach and planning of care or support.
One of the essential aspects of planning care services is to have a holistic approach to planning and
provision. This means recognising that all parts of person life will have an impact on their care
needs and that you need to look beyond what you see when you meet them for the first time. The
idea of person centred planning comes from the valuing people 2001 white paper. It contains some

Pride In The Scarlet Ibis By James Hurst
Many times we think pride is a good thing. But, in this case it can hurt the ones you love. Webster
Dictionary's definition of pride is a feeling or deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own
achievements. In this story, I will talk about one boy's pride that comes from the achievements of his
brother rather than him. Rather than celebrating the glory of his brother's achievements; he lets the
pride get to him and makes him act narcissistic.
In "The Scarlet Ibis" by James Hurst, the narrator lets his pride and ambition ultimately destroy his
brother.
The Narrator has always had strong opinions on Doodle. Ever since the day Doodle was born, the
Narrator's pride was much too high for having Doodle as a brother saying, "He was born when I was
six and was, from the outset, a disappointment." Not even giving his brother a chance to grow ...

"When Doodle was five years old, I was embarrassed at having a brother of that age who couldn't
walk, so I set out to teach him." Even though the doctors said Doodle would never be able to walk.
As a result, at Doodle's birthday party the Narrator did something spectacular for the family; he
showed them that Doodle could walk. However, the family did not know what the Narrators
motives. The Narrator saying "They did not know that I did it for myself; that pride, whose slave I
was, spoke to me louder than all their voices, and that Doodle walked only because I was ashamed
of having a crippled brother." The motives of this were not fair to Doodle, but the outcome made
everyone in the family delighted. Soon he had let the feeling of pride engulf him turning it into
something worse. "I did not know then that pride is a wonderful, terrible thing, a seed that bears two
vines, life and death" the Narrator said. Now instead of celebrating with his brother the
accomplishment they had made, he felt saddened by his own

A Case Plan For Children And Families Essay
According to the Administration for Children & Families (2014) case plans are formed by child
protection staff and families who work together to identify goals for the family (Laracuente, 2016).
A case plan is a written text that explains why the child is considered to be in need of protection, it
provides a lucid statement of the functions and responsibilities of all participants in addressing the
child 's care and security needs (Laracuente, 2016). Furthermore, a case plan must also include
stipulations that address the child's developmental needs and assist them to gain the skills and sense
of well–being that will allow them to realize their ability (McBain, Sedky, Kjerulf, 2010). All
activities, discussions, and contact with the child and family will be guided by the case plan while it
is in effect (McBain, Sedky, Kjerulf, 2010). Case planning is a method used to provide services that
identify needs, sets goals and determines the importance of actions that are to be taken by a client or
the social service worker. Case planning can, therefore; be described as the process of assessment,
organizing, and advocacy for options and services to meet an individual's needs through
communication and available resources (McBain, Sedky, Kjerulf, 2010).Often the goals of the case
planning focus on maximizing children 's safety and diminishing their risk of harming the purpose
of the ongoing intervention, outcomes, and actions required to achieve the goals (Laracuente, 2016).

How to Plan a Family Vacation Essays
How to Plan a Family Vacation
"A penny saved is a penny earned." "A job worth doing is worth doing right." We apply both of
these sayings to the working world all of the time. Why not apply them to our vacationing world as
well? Like most people, I look forward to a vacation, but planning it can become overwhelming if
you're not prepared. Planning a vacation should be fun and exciting. Vacationing is not always a
priority to many families due to economic distress, but as little as a few hundred dollars you can
plan a weekend getaway that's inexpensive but a lot of fun! The best vacation my family ever took
was one that we didn't stress on planning. My husband and I kept it simple. We packed our bags
early and hid ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Consider your finances and what you're willing to spend. After deciding on what weekend you'll be
leaving, finding a place to stay is the next thing to plan. Most places fill up early. Make hotel, car
and other reservations as soon as you can. Quality and prices vary with each hotel. Some rates are as
low as $30 a night, while some rates are as high as $200 a night or more. Picking a room that's not
in a scenic area or without a view is usually cheaper. Each hotel offers different rates and quality.
More expensive places offer kitchenettes, suites, fireplaces, heated pools, and more. Search online
for coupon codes, AAA, AARP, Military or Government discounts. For the least expensive trip, you
could plan a camping trip in a state park, but for some that would mean a larger expense of
purchasing tents, sleeping bags and camping gear. Unless you're prepared for a camping trip, plan to
stay in a hotel or cabin.
Have a checklist prepared when packing for your trip. Know what the climate will be during the
times that you're there. Know what days or nights you'll need formal clothing, casual clothing, or
swimwear. Make sure that you pack so you're not buying needed things that you may already have
at home. Consider the amount of luggage you're taking in case you'll be flying. Pack things such as
moist towlettes, money, passports, medicine and sunglasses. Consider small children when traveling
as they become bored and wear out easily. Pack plenty

and sensitivity training should have included all expatriates, employees, and cross–cultural teams to

problems were lack of training, poor leadership styles and pool human capital management.
Intervention:
If AGC is going to survive, it's culture needs an overall improvement to increase its performance,

To save money on dining out, purchase groceries to last you for the week. You can buy things to
make sandwiches so that you do not have to spend a lot of your vacation in the kitchen. Also,
purchase things for several "home–cooked" meals so that you will not be tempted to eat out often.
The final step will be packing for your trip. Make a list of things that you will need while on
vacation. Be sure to pack all clothing and toiletries that you will need for a week. Also be sure to
pack any medications that you will need for the length of your stay. As you pack, take the time to

Health Care Proposal Essay
My New Proposal for a New System Jamelia Hamilton Axia College of University of Phoenix
Health care is one of the most important benefits to the people of the United States. Everybody
needs health care and some people need more medical attention than others and some people do not
even need health care, except for their yearly exams. Today health care has many strengths,
weaknesses, and challenges. I have come up with a new exam that will hopefully benefit everybody
in some way. My vision for the new health care system is to one, make it more affordable for
everybody in the United States. Two, to make sure that everybody receives the medical attention
they need and deserve. The new health care plan I have come up with is called, ... Show more

Health care plan 1a would be the cheapest plan and would benefit most people. Now the health care
plans cost would go up each plan. The more on the plan, the more you pay. It is the same way with
the family plan. My health care proposal also really benefits elders. Today, elders have a really hard
time paying for health care when they are on a fixed income. I believe that health care should a lot
cheaper for elders. I believe that elders should receive discounts on their prescriptions and this
proposal would take care of that. This health care proposal would make health care cheaper for
elders by reducing the cost of prescriptions and doctor visits. This health care plan also eliminates
health care for the people who do not need and gives medical attention to the ones who do need it.
For example, the people who have long–term illnesses, but cannot pay for it because they cannot
afford it or it is not in their current health care plan. The people who do have long–term illnesses in
their health care plan, but do have a long–term illness would no longer have to pay for it, unless they
became ill. This would help people realize what they are paying for and what they are not paying
for. This proposal also proposes that kids who are suffering from long–term illnesses get paid so
much money a year for health care expenses, well their parents or guardians would receive the
money and the money could be used for bills or health

Family Treatment Plan

  • 1. Family Treatment Plan One thing to understand when dealing with addictions within the family system is that there are many different types of families from nuclear, single parent, same sex etc.., and the effects that addiction has varies within these different family system. There is no one way of creating or approaching a set treatment plan. Therefore it is imperative that the addiction counselor or worker complete a thorough assessments and evaluations of the family in order to create a individualize therapy, recovery and continued after treatment care. Through initial assessments information that may be key to a successful treatment plan for the addict can be ascertained. Issues that can be counteractive to overall treatment goals such as the economic, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. Plan Houston The city that I chose to use for Planning in my Hometown was Houston, my actual hometown that I have a lot of love for. Houston is located in south east Texas about an hour and a half north of the Gulf of Mexico. Houston is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and its population in 2016 was 2,239,558 which that keeps Houston in its spot as the fourth largest city in the United States. There are 25 city departments in Houston covering all different topics that effect our city. In Houston we do a Planning and Development department which is in charge of our planning–related issues. There are other departments that may have a little control over planning such as our Neighborhood department, Parks and Recreation department, ect, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Not only are there online tools but they use Plan Houston's findings to help with city organization. It is recommended that there be assessments that track priorities and funding so they can make sure the plan is being implemented correctly, it also helps create a framework for a successful and lively city. The goal that I find most important that Houston is working on achieving is "Celebrate what's uniquely Houston". The desired result of this goal is to highlight Houston's unique elements and character, our arts, sports teams, history, and events. This is very important to me because I have a passion for Houston, it is my home and where I would like to raise my family, so promoting what my city has to offer is a big deal to me. Houston's plan of action to "Celebrate what's uniquely Houston" is to: "Maintain a plan for supporting arts and culture. Seek additional means to support and promote arts and culture organizations locally and internationally. Ensure that all Houstonians have access to art and culture attractions. Celebrate Houston's past and present diversity and culture through City activates, events and publications. Encourage and support attractive public spaces and roadways. Preserve historic ... • 5. Military Family Psychoeducation Plan The scenario my psychoeducation plan will be based off of is the couple, who are parents of 4 children and have just been informed that they will be experiencing their first deployment. The first deployment milestone for military families is an extremely stressful and scary time, however with resources and support stress can be minimized. When working with a service member and their family before their deployment it is important provide psycho–education on the impact the deployment will have on the service member, their spouse/partner, and on their children. According to Milliken, Auchterlonie, & Hoge, 2007, soldiers returning from combat operations are at a high risk for returning home and developing PTSD, depression, suicidal ideation, interpersonal ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When working with a family who has their first deployment, it is important to help reinforce their ability to respond to the challenges they may encounter throughout the deployment cycle. Deployment has been may have an impact on parent–child interactions for those who are deployed, as well as for caregivers remaining at home. It is important to provide psychoeducation on the impact the deployment may have on the family, such as separation and transitions, relationship challenges, mental health difficulties and substance abuse. It is important to educate and provide resources regarding this because research indicated that the role of parenting practices in the relationship between family stressors can have a direct impact on the child behavioral/emotional problems (Palmer, 2008). I would also provide resources on Family Service Centers, such as the Navy Fleet and Family Support Center. These centers can provide support and education about resiliency and military life. Child Serv, which is an organization piloting the Military Family Initiative, is another resource that would be helpful as it offers services for early childhood education and family counseling to military members and their ... Genogram an updated approach of researching conjectural family events. It is also a road map for individuals to connect and note relationship patterns of multiple generations. Moreover, it gives meaning to why family life cycles are disrupted in some area and strong in others. As people study their family circle they gain understanding of how multiple generations are influenced by the core values of family structure. Diligence should be placed on the delicate and fragile similarities of physical, social, and psychological disorder or dysfunction throughout segment of each generation. For the most part, health alter how "human experiences are framed by the interlocking nature of individual trajectories and kinship networks in the context of temporal motion, culture, and social change" (McGoldrick, Preto, & Carter, 2016, p. 1). Looking at family structure, early generations raised their children with stay at home mothers, working fathers, and neighbors as extended family. The middle generations have the complexity of expanding their immediate family, managing elderly care, and later down the line supporting their older children and their extended families. The younger generations are consumed with self– insecurity with the need to feel wanted. Although throughout life transitions–boundaries change, family relationship become strained, and roles within family dynamics are constantly being altered and redefined. Family dynamic does not consist of mother, father, and biological child or children. People are no longer calling or identifying their family as biological connection, but individuals they form a connecting bond with that are not genetically connected. In other word, there are major diverse integral role in marriages, immediate and extended families. • 15. Verizon : A Better Prepaid Essay In May 2016 Verizon released a new commercial for a prepaid plan to compete with the cell phone providers such as AT&T, Sprint, and others. The 2016 Verizon commercial was titled "Verizon: A Better Prepaid". Its purpose was to let the audience believe that Verizon's product was the best on the market for the prepaid plans that are available. However, this is a common claim among companies regardless of what the product they are selling is. Therefore, Verizon needed to create a commercial that was both memorable and affective, and they did just that with their latest ad. With the ever–growing competition in today's economy, instead of bringing something fresh to the table, Verizon's marketing crew boldly brought back some old, and somewhat forgotten popular tunes that appeal to the 80's and 90's kids. This technique was useful in drawing in a specific audience and initiating a positive feeling of nostalgia in them, which in return gave Verizon's ad a boost in the eyes of its viewers. It is small things like this that marketing teams strive to put into in their work. Along with their superior use of marketing techniques, Verizon offers a wide variety of information about their product. According to Verizon's official website, their new prepaid plan offers 4G LTE coverage. However, their information regarding this product varies depending on where you receive your information. Nevertheless, Verizon created a successful advertisement to make revenue for their company, and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 23. Becoming A Pediatric Oncology Nurse Ever since I was a child, I have been encouraged to plan ahead. Every aspect of my childhood was filled with planning, such as when I went to bed or what I would wear the next day. This is mostly due to the effect of my parents getting divorced. I had to start planning my life out based on the circumstance of switching between houses. As a child, I learned the substantial value that planning has on my life. As I got older I started to come to the realization that plans often do not go exactly as contrived. Sometimes, the plans I have made will alter in some way, or drop all together, resulting in an enormous amount of stress. This was the case when I decided to change my choice in career my senior year of high school. Most of my life I had been working toward the goal of being a dance teacher, but while watching a medical drama about kids with cancer, I soon realized my desire to be a pediatric oncology nurse was stronger than my love for dance. With that decision, all of my plans had entirely changed. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The following treatment plan will look at the Jarrett family, an upper–class family that struggles with the death of the oldest son, Buck. After the last harsh confrontation with her husband (Calvin), Beth decided to run away to Houston and leave the family. Without knowing if Beth wants to come back, Calvin and Conrad join therapy to face this delicate situation. By considering this information, our treatment plan will look at their family dynamics from three theoretical perspectives: Bowenian family therapy, Structural Family therapy, and Cognitive–Behavioral Family Therapy. Step 1: Select a Problem List Calvin and Conrad express their concerns in term of lack of relationship with Beth. Conrad thinks he is responsible and guilty in regarding of her mother's decision to leave to Texas. He also blames her mother to be neglectful, hostile, and coward. Besides, Conrad mentions that he is unable to re– establish friendships with Joe, Kevin, and other members of the swimming team. Calvin thinks that Beth's unwillingness to come back and join them in therapy is a threat to their relationship. He describes himself as powerless and abandoned by her. Also, Calvin is worried about Conrad well–being. He believes Conrad is too sensitive and does not want he blames himself as the reason for the marriage crisis. False Prince Quotes "My father said a person can be educated and still be stupid, and a wise man can have no education at all" (ch. 6) is a quote from the book The false Prince, by Jennifer A. Nielsen. I think this quote connects to the characters through representing the differences in Tobias, Roden and Sage, through reflecting Conner's personality and plan and through describing Verldegrath and his plans for Carthya's future. The quotes shows and represents the relationship between Tobias, Roden and Sage. From all the three boys, Tobias is the most educated one. However, throughout the book, he is not the one making the wisest decisions. **option 1** " 'Do you fight on, knowing you'll likely die, or stop the battle and beg for your opponent's mercy?' • 33. Similarities Between Proctor And Gamble And Unilever Proctor and Gamble vs. Unilever Over the past decades creating corporate social responsibility has become very important to companies in order to compete in their industries. It has become obvious to the public that corporations have so much power in society; so corporations efforts to improve society has become a necessity to many consumers. Corporate social responsibility is defined in our textbook as, "a business concern for society's welfare"(Lamb, Hair, McDaniel 2017). When taking a look at Proctor and Gamble and Unilever's goals to create stronger corporate social responsibility in society I have identified a few major similarities and differences. First we will talk about a few of the similarities that have been identified in these company's plans. One similarity shared between these company's plans is their focus on Gender inclusiveness. Unilever's goal is to empower 5 million women by 2020, while P&G is also focusing on empowering women in many ways. One of the ways is by promoting work for women within the firm, in India they claim to have 30% of their plant workforce being women. Another similarity can be seen in their focus on enhancing lives through out the world. A Forbes article about Unilever outlined that, "the washing brand Persil has helped 10m children get an education whilst cleaning bleach Domestos has helped 5m people gain access to toilets"(Feller 2016). P&G has also shown is commitment to improving lives by teaming up with Habitats for Humanity to provide shelter for low–income families. According to Habitats website, "Nearly 2,000 P&G employees have built, repaired or cleaned homes with 12,000 families" (Proctor and Gamble 2015). The last similarity that I have found is both companies have set their goals for 2020 and have tracked their progress over the years. Unilever has focused on its three main goals and have further divided these goals into 50 goals in order to track their progress. P&G has done a similar thing by creating sub goals within each of their four major goals. Both company's track and reported yearly progress for each of these goals. Properly done, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This could result in a considerable amount of hiring, firing or laying off of employees; insecure and unhappy employees; increased inventory carrying costs; problems with labour unions; and erratic utilization of plant and equipment. It also implies a great deal of flexibility on the firm 's part. The major advantage of a chase strategy is that it allows inventory to be held to the lowest level possible, and for some firms this is a considerable savings. Most firms embracing the just–in–time production concept utilize a chase strategy approach to aggregate planning. Most firms find it advantageous to utilize a combination of the level and chase strategy. A combination strategy (sometimes called a hybrid or mixed strategy) can be found to better meet organizational goals and policies and achieve lower costs than either of the pure strategies used independently. TECHNIQUES FOR AGGREGATE PLANNING Techniques for aggregate planning range from informal trial–and–error approaches, which usually utilize simple tables or graphs, to more formalized and advanced mathematical techniques. William Stevenson 's textbook Production/Operations Management contains an informal but useful trial– and–error process for aggregate planning presented in outline form. This general procedure consists of the following steps: 1. Determine demand for each period. 2. Determine capacity for each period. This capacity should match demand, which ... The initial phase is where I will create a working alliance with the family expressing empathy using RISSSC techniques. With RISSSC, I will repeat key words and phrases the client says, use images to capture emotions that words cannot, use simple words, maintain a slow pace, use a soft voice to encourage a deeper experience, and adopt client's words in a validating way (Gehart, 2014). I will also identify the negative interaction cycle, and resolution strategies to resolve conflict (Gehart, 2014) In the working phase, I will work to increase emotional expression and engagement of withdrawn family members in the Winters family. I will use enactments to allow for acceptance and direct communication of needs between family members. With these enactments, the clients can articulate their needs and establish new interaction sequences. I will also strengthen the skill of family members to react to each other in manners that establish a sense of relational safety and bonding (Gehart, 2014). Rather than celebrating the glory of his brother's achievements; he lets the pride get to him and makes him act narcissistic. As a result, at Doodle's birthday party the Narrator did something spectacular for the family; he showed them that Doodle could walk. However, the family did not know what the Narrators motives. The Narrator saying "They did not know that I did it for myself; that pride, whose slave I was, spoke to me louder than all their voices, and that Doodle walked only because I was ashamed of having a crippled brother." The motives of this were not fair to Doodle, but the outcome made everyone in the family delighted. Soon he had let the feeling of pride engulf him turning it into something worse. Herman Family Treatment Plan Treatment Plan Eqwasha Collins Treatment Plan Description of the client Buddy is a sixteen year old, pale European American male and the oldest child of Tammy Herman. The Herman family live in a predominately African–American community in public housing. Buddy was removed from the house 5 years ago and was placed in a residential school. Buddy is not very talkative or enthusiastic about conversing with the family at first, until he gets to tell his own opinion about making changes to better himself. Strengths The Herman's biggest strength is collectively expressing their own personal feelings. By them being able to express themselves I'm able to get a clear understanding of the areas needed to be focused on. Buddy's strength is that he has a motivation of wanting to change in order to not have to leave his home again. For example, Buddy is eager to start helping his mom around the house with chores. • 69. A Case Plan For Children And Families Essay According to the Administration for Children & Families (2014) case plans are formed by child protection staff and families who work together to identify goals for the family (Laracuente, 2016). A case plan is a written text that explains why the child is considered to be in need of protection, it provides a lucid statement of the functions and responsibilities of all participants in addressing the child 's care and security needs (Laracuente, 2016). Furthermore, a case plan must also include stipulations that address the child's developmental needs and assist them to gain the skills and sense of well–being that will allow them to realize their ability (McBain, Sedky, Kjerulf, 2010). All activities, discussions, and contact with the child and family will be guided by the case plan while it is in effect (McBain, Sedky, Kjerulf, 2010). Case planning is a method used to provide services that identify needs, sets goals and determines the importance of actions that are to be taken by a client or the social service worker. Case planning can, therefore; be described as the process of assessment, organizing, and advocacy for options and services to meet an individual's needs through communication and available resources (McBain, Sedky, Kjerulf, 2010).Often the goals of the case planning focus on maximizing children 's safety and diminishing their risk of harming the purpose of the ongoing intervention, outcomes, and actions required to achieve the goals (Laracuente, 2016). We apply both of these sayings to the working world all of the time. Why not apply them to our vacationing world as well? Like most people, I look forward to a vacation, but planning it can become overwhelming if you're not prepared. Planning a vacation should be fun and exciting. Vacationing is not always a priority to many families due to economic distress, but as little as a few hundred dollars you can plan a weekend getaway that's inexpensive but a lot of fun! The best vacation my family ever took was one that we didn't stress on planning. My husband and I kept it simple. We packed our bags early and hid ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Consider your finances and what you're willing to spend. After deciding on what weekend you'll be leaving, finding a place to stay is the next thing to plan. Most places fill up early. Make hotel, car and other reservations as soon as you can. Quality and prices vary with each hotel. Some rates are as low as $30 a night, while some rates are as high as $200 a night or more. Picking a room that's not in a scenic area or without a view is usually cheaper. Each hotel offers different rates and quality. More expensive places offer kitchenettes, suites, fireplaces, heated pools, and more. Search online for coupon codes, AAA, AARP, Military or Government discounts. For the least expensive trip, you could plan a camping trip in a state park, but for some that would mean a larger expense of purchasing tents, sleeping bags and camping gear. Unless you're prepared for a camping trip, plan to stay in a hotel or cabin. Have a checklist prepared when packing for your trip. Know what the climate will be during the times that you're there. Know what days or nights you'll need formal clothing, casual clothing, or swimwear. Make sure that you pack so you're not buying needed things that you may already have at home. Consider the amount of luggage you're taking in case you'll be flying. Pack things such as moist towlettes, money, passports, medicine and sunglasses. Consider small children when traveling as they become bored and wear out easily. Pack plenty ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Finally, diversity and multiculturalism was a major issue that plagued AGC. Project management and sensitivity training should have included all expatriates, employees, and cross–cultural teams to strengthen the interpersonal skills needed to be successful. These problems were diagnosed by means of employee surveys, interviews, and focus groups. In conclusion, the root causes of these problems were lack of training, poor leadership styles and pool human capital management. Intervention: If AGC is going to survive, it's culture needs an overall improvement to increase its performance, provide a strategic competitive advantage, and encompass unified beliefs and values to be upheld throughout the company. By ensuring HR is taking the cognitive approach to openly discuss various cultures and gain knowledge and feedback in a safe and structured setting, AGC will better determine who is a better fit as an expatriate for the company. "The cognitive approach also focuses on assessing an individual's knowledge of the cultural backgrounds of the participants in efforts to build a strong understanding into the cultures of others." Everybody needs health care and some people need more medical attention than others and some people do not even need health care, except for their yearly exams. Today health care has many strengths, weaknesses, and challenges. I have come up with a new exam that will hopefully benefit everybody in some way. Now the health care plans cost would go up each plan. The more on the plan, the more you pay. It is the same way with the family plan. My health care proposal also really benefits elders. Today, elders have a really hard time paying for health care when they are on a fixed income. I believe that health care should a lot cheaper for elders. I believe that elders should receive discounts on their prescriptions and this proposal would take care of that. This health care proposal would make health care cheaper for elders by reducing the cost of prescriptions and doctor visits. This health care plan also eliminates health care for the people who do not need and gives medical attention to the ones who do need it. For example, the people who have long–term illnesses, but cannot pay for it because they cannot afford it or it is not in their current health care plan. The people who do have long–term illnesses in their health care plan, but do have a long–term illness would no longer have to pay for it, unless they became ill. This would help people realize what they are paying for and what they are not paying for. This proposal also proposes that kids who are suffering from long–term illnesses get paid so much money a year for health care expenses, well their parents or guardians would receive the money and the money could be used for bills or health ...
