unit. Family interaction is the interpersonal dynamics of the members of a family in a variety of environments and activities.1 The family is conceived
as a "a unit of interacting personalities" (Schvaneveldt,1966). Family is a system consisting of interdependent and reciprocal relationships, hence the
behavior of any family member will affect all the family members and disturbs the equilibrium. The interpersonal relationships that exist between

"No one is ever born into Life alone. Everyone has shared the bond of family, at least at birth, and for many people it is a bond that will follow them

I remember the feeling of completeness and security I had growing up with my mom, dad, grandparents, and extended family members. I always
felt like I belonged and was accepted for me. People are not perfect, sometimes in actions and words, but, knowing the unconditional love that we
are surrounded with by our families keeps us grounded in our true selves. Now that I am older, I feel the same security that I experienced while
growing up. A familiarity of comfort that brings me to a place of peace and security. My own comfort zone where I am loved, happy, cared for and

A family can be defined in many ways, but the common denominator in all is the love and fulfillment one gets by being surrounded by family
members. Families can sometimes be at odds with each other, but the strain of this type of relationship usually creates an upsetting feeling to the

I had been married twice and divorced twice before I was twenty–three years old, so the living happily ever after being married life fail short a long
time ago. I did find out years ago, that I certainly did not need to be married to love; I did not need anything but to open my heart. Since I left
home in my teens and moved away from all of my natural family in my early twenties, I have learned that there is so much more than just one's own

The definition of family is defined in various ways to many different people. Many people may say their family includes the family of orientation,
extended family, and family of procreation. It all depends on how the child is raised. Three important factors, out of six, that I consider to be the main
functions of family are socialization, economic cooperation, and care, protection, and intimacy. Some families may very well address these functions,

My Family Memories
As a young girl, I had what some people might call the "perfect" nuclear family. My parents, both very attractive individuals, had the two cutest
blonde–haired and blue–eyed kids in church every single Sunday. Each afternoon, my dad would come home from his 9:00 to 5:00 and greet my
stay–at–home mom with a kiss. We ate supper together every night at the dining room table; then, we would snuggle up on the couch before our

I have spent approximately 5,735 hours sitting at a dinner table with my family. Some of those hours dragged by and some of them ran out in the
blink of an eye. Many hours took place around a huge mahogany table that seemed to extend for miles, while others occurred around a tiny folding
table, barely big enough to contain the food and conversations being passed above it. However, one of the things that has always stayed that same, no
matter the table or the topic of discussion, was the people that sat around it. Family dinner is such a profound time of the day; a time when
everyone can come together as one. Throughout all of these years and all of these dinner tables, I have come to learn that relationships are sacred.

You never know what something really means until you experience it. Like the definition of family. Family doesn't mean you have to be joined by

About 4 years ago, my uncle passed away. . I never ask why because everything happens for reason. We don't visit family every weekend we're busy
people and I'm sure they are too, but in that moment it's like family stopped all that to come together and be united. Everyone needed each other my
