This document discusses how faith is a journey and defining concept that means something different to everyone. It emphasizes making faith a normal part of everyday life through rituals like prayer, grace at meals, or devotional readings. By openly discussing God with children and being available to answer their questions, parents can help launch their children on a path of greater understanding of faith and themselves. The effects of making God a priority in family life may not always be visible, but are impactful on one's spiritual journey.

Raising Godly children - United Faith Church Barnegat New Jersey led by Pastor Jerry and Pastor Janeth Santiago.
God expresses His immense love and concern for children in His Word and commands that children should be taught His promises, instructed in the Word, and raised in His love. United Faith Church trusts that God desires good things for His children and wants a relationship with them to bestow His promises upon them, equip them to do His will and to demonstrate His glory and power in their lives. When children develop a relationship with God early on, they learn to know and trust Him, make choices in accordance with His Word, and grow to be confident of His love for them.

Victory over cancer, poverty, alcoholism, depression, and death. Our family overcame it all and now lives free with a fully restored marriage! This is a real-life story of my miraculous journey with the Lord Jesus Christ in United Faith Church in Barnegat New Jersey, led by Pastor Jerry and Pastor Janeth Santiago.
Something that I learned through this project is that there are many details that go into creating a brand, in order to help someone completely understand a brand you have to provide them with where it started, where it is, and where it is going. It is also important to tell the consumer what inspired this brand, I personally love learning about where a product came from.
Our unconscious awareness takes its cue from the sub-personalities or its alter ego. A sub-personality or alter ego is the person inside of you that listens and takes orders from what you learned as a child, what you learned from the streets, your role models, or what you learned from what someone hasn’t done for you and this causes you to take orders from your past instead of the Holy Spirit.

Believing Prayer - We Christians need to show a WORLD IN GREAT NEED that God is meeting OUR needs, working in OUR lives in a supernatural way, and doing "impossible" things on a regular basis in OUR lives. 1. If I were to ask you to
describe “Faith”, what
would you say? Would
you say:
Faith is believing in
God,
Faith is living out the
teachings of the bi-
ble,
Faith is trusting in
something that you
know is real?
We all describe Faith
differently. It means
something different to
everyone and no one
definition is more cor-
rect than another. No
matter how you define
faith, it must be a part
of everyday life.
The United Methodist
Church describes the
basics of our faith as
part journey. An ex-
cerpt from umc.org
states that “Faith is the
basic orientation and
commitment of our
whole being – a matter
of heart and soul.
Christian faith is
grounding our lives in
the living God as re-
vealed especially in
Jesus Christ…Faith is
believing in God…
Faith is following Je-
sus…Faith is hoping
for God’s future…Faith
-as-belief is active; it
involves trusting, be-
lieving, following, hop-
ing.”
Faith has definitely
been a journey for me.
I am always discover-
ing new things about
my faith and feel it in-
tensify as I grow older.
When my kids have
questions about God, I
see my younger self in
them. I asked those
same questions and
wondered when I
would get answers. I
still don’t have the an-
swers to all my faith
questions, but I tell my
kids that I am still
learning and growing
in my faith. We will
never have all the an-
swers. What matters
is the journey. The
journey can begin any
time.
Pastor Carey Nieu-
whof, from The Parent
Cue blog*, writes
about making conver-
sation about God nor-
mal. He asks “How
does God get worked
into the rhythm?” You
see, if we are to en-
courage our children’s
journey in their faith,
we have to make our
faith a priority in our
daily lives. Neiuwhof
points out that families
have a rhythm that
becomes normal and
is valued. So, why not
create a rhythm that
makes talking about
God normal? For
your family this might
mean saying prayers
at night regularly, hav-
ing your children say
grace at dinner, or
reading and discuss-
ing devotionals. Our
family uses Dinner
Table Devotions by
Nancy Guthrie. But, it
can be spontaneous,
too! When the con-
versation happens is
not what is critical.
The important thing is
that it becomes nor-
mal, a part of life.
Helping to create a
rhythm at home fos-
ters your children’s
faith journey. Openly
talking about God and
being available when
your kids have ques-
tions, even when you
don’t know the an-
swers, launches your
child on a path toward
greater understanding

of their faith and even
of themselves. It is not
about knowing all the
answers, but being
open to the questions.
You are on the journey
together.
I read somewhere
that “Faith is like the
wind. You can’t see it,
but you can see its
effects.” When you
make God a part of
everyday life, you will
be amazed at the ef-
fect it will have on your
family’s faith journey!

Ways to Connect
“Faith” is What’s Happening in
KidsConnect in June/July
Summer is one of those times of the year when you
head off on a family vacation. Perhaps you keep al-
bums filled with photos from the places you’ve been.
In these experiences, we can’t help but notice that
wherever we are, God is already there and up to
something amazing.
Faith is believing that what Jesus did can change
me. This summer, your kids will view the story of Je-
sus through a man whose life was radically changed
when he encountered the story of Jesus. He went
from a person who tried everything to stop the mes-
sage of Jesus from spreading, to one who wrote most
of the New Testament and died for his faith in Jesus.
This man is Paul. We’ll explore where in the world
Paul was and how we fit into his story, too.

The story of Jesus changes everything. What He
taught, how He lived, died and rose again, changed
the course of humanity. Your kids will come to realize
that Jesus isn’t just a story in an old book, but a real
person who can change their life, too. Our Memory
Verse is Hebrews 11:1 (NIrV), “Faith is being sure
of what we hope for. It is being sure of what we do
not see.” This verse gives us a great definition for
what it means to have faith. And when we choose to
put our faith into action, it will change our lives and the
lives of others!
