2. I was born as a love child and growing up was more on
the street, as there was no father figure. The rough life
blurred my dream, as I practically had none, but just to
survive by the day. When my mother couldn’t pay for my
WAEC fees, I moved to live with my dad, who introduced
me to FGBMFI (Full Gospel @ motel Benin Plaza) in a bid
to maintain peace at home. The testimonies of these men
sparked a flame of fire in me and I wanted to belong to
The Happiest People on Earth.
3. This was the first time I thought of being somebody, on
return to my hometown, I joined the Fellowship fully
and started seeking admission to the University from
the encouragement of members, particularly Mrs. Ada
Okafor, who even registered me for A-level examination.
I became very active in my local Church and exposure
from the Fellowship gave me a vision to aspire to come
forth against all odds. The first convention I attended in
1999 was sponsored and being my first time in Lagos, it
was quite an experience as I had the opportunity to
realise the possibilities of going through tough times,
successfully.
4. I gained admission into the University and
immediately joined the Fellowship after going
through a tortuous journey, where I learnt that God
has a plan for me from my god Mother, Assoc. Prof.
Pamela I. Eze-Uzomaka. There in the Fellowship, I met
Prof. Eric C. Eboh, who took me as a brother through
different strata of life in family and work relationships.
Knowing the importance of having a personal
relationship with Christ, I yielded to the baptism of
the Holy Spirit and this gave my life a boost with
series of testimonies from the Fellowship. I opted to
become a life member of the Fellowship because it
gave my life a meaning.
5. I finally graduated from the University, started
working, then decided to settle down and got the
best gift of Love. I married a daughter of God,
Gloria O. Favour, while in the Fellowship, years of
prayers was answered with a son, Samuel O.
Favour and just last Monday, 16/11/2020, we’re
blessed with another son, Lemuel O. Favour. I was
appointed to work with the government and by
the grace of God, I also use the platform to reach
out.
6. The secret behind my coming forth is in
discovering a founding principle of the
Fellowship, which is giving, and from the
time I started giving, living became a
favourable journey of stepping up. In all
these, it was my faith on trial, as the more
I gave became an investment to
strengthen my journey of love. We all go
through somethings at times, but if we
give off impurities (that is anything not
pure in our lives should be purge), our
faith will be refined and redefined by the
value of percentages given not gotten.
7. For example, when I was praying for promotion in
my workplace, the Fellowship needed a recording
system, which was provided by the grace of God
and thereafter, I got the appointment, this was a life
changing moment. Recently, I distributed various
amounts to lots of people in need during/after the
lockdown, while praying for safe delivery and God
answered as I witnessed our baby delivery within
five minutes to the glory of God.
8. My life is a reflection of what I give
not get, so I consciously make it a
habit to give, especially when it’s not
convenient, I make the sacrifice by
living love. It does not matter where
you are because I am a living proof
that God answers prayer of The
Happiest People by bringing them to
banquet with the banner of love. My
testimony is a harmonical resonance
of Love.
