The document discusses the importance of the 2010 U.S. Census. It notes that the census determines the distribution of over $300 billion in government funding annually and impacts congressional representation. Faith-based organizations are encouraged to partner with the Census Bureau to help ensure an accurate count in their communities. As partners, they can spread awareness about jobs, assure people it is important and safe to participate, and encourage members to complete their census forms.

A short sermon on who God is and His characteristic. We touch on the 3 Omnis, God in (mercy & grace, love, worthy)
And finally we end with a discussion on how do we respond to God.
This is a study of biblical principles of faith. It is part of the Crossroads programme, written by Dr Kevin Smith and offered by the South African Theological Seminary.
Why does Jesus call His disciples "salt"? What are the functions of salt? Why does He mention "salt" before light? What are the characteristics of light? Why does Jesus call His disciples "light"? What are the functions of light? Why would anyone think of hiding their light or placing their light "under a basket"? How, practically, does a Christian "let their light shine"? How does light shine from a follower of Jesus? Where does the believer's light shine?
Putting Feet to Your Faith_True ReligionStephen Palm
In the third sermon in the series "Putting Feet to Your Faith" we will look at James reference to "true religion." James is the only New Testament author to use religion in a positive sense. He contrasts false religion and true religion. We will see that true religion is a faith that has a practical expression.
Whether or not someone believes in God depends upon many things. In some cases, people are brought up in religious environments that are so oppressive, they are practically brainwashed into believing. In other cases, the opposite is the case, and people are raised believing that there is no God. Eventually, everyone will come to their own conclusions regarding the existence of God, even if they do not openly share their opinion for fear of being ridiculed, shunned, or worse. It may be safe to assume that more people believe in God than not, and here are some of the reasons that may compel them to do so.

The decennial census determines the allocation of hundreds of billions of federal program dollars. Federal agencies and private entities use data on race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, age, and disability to determine where disparities exist and where community groups could assist. This workshop brings together professionals working to collect data for the census to discuss recently analyzed data with community groups searching for information to support program objectives and goals.
National Voter Registration Act: A Fact Sheetcoryhelene
While the United States has come a long way in expanding the franchise over the past 220 years, barriers to participation still exist and these barriers disproportionately impact low-income citizens. In 2008, over 11 million low-income adult citizens remained unregistered to vote and the registration between low-income and high-income citizens was over 19 percentage points.
Research by Demos and its partners demonstrates that the compliance gaps found in states such as Missouri, North Carolina and Virginia reflect a nationwide problem.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
