PLACEMENT INTERVIEWS :- Placement refers to the process of connecting the
selected person and the employer in order to established the ongoing employment
relationship.
SELECTION PROCESS:- It is often said to be negative process of choosing the
employees. There are 7 steps in selection process. Preliminary screening,
selection test, interview, selection decision, medical examination, job offer, contract
of employment.

■ RESUME : It is the written document which contains background details kills bio
data accomplishments of a person.
■ TYPES OF RESUMES :- There are 3 major types of resume.
They are :- FUNCTIONAL RESUME.
COMBINATION RESUME
CHRONOLOGICAL RESUME
■ You should always keep your resume up to date and if you are a student
applying as a student you should ensure that you maintain functional resume
but not the chronological resume.

comfortable and confident in.
■ Should dress up neatly.
■ Should speak politely.
■ Should not be stressed.
■ Focus on company needs.
■ Listen, stay brief and relevant.
■ Research as much as possible about
the company before going for the
interview.
DON’T S
■ Should not be late to the interview.
■ Show up unprepared.
■ Be unfamiliar with your resume or
company.
■ Forget to ask any questions.
■ Talk too much or lie.
■ Bring anything with you that may be a
distraction.
