This document summarizes Facebook usage statistics in Southeast Asian countries from March 2011. It reports that 18% of the population across Southeast Asian countries have Facebook accounts on average. In February 2011, 500,000 new Southeast Asian users joined Facebook. The largest Facebook populations are in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia. 78% of Facebook users in Southeast Asia are under 30, and men account for 54% of users in Asia. The Philippines and Indonesia have the highest monthly minutes and visits per Facebook user.
