3. What’s the one thing that makes India a nation worth its value? If your answer to this question
was anything but unity in diversity, then you must go through this blog. We are here to provide
a tour through the streets of this subcontinent and help you understand its core.
India has about 130 billion people living and breathing every day. It is home to all types of
people irrespective of their backgrounds. Every region, be it North, East, West, or South, offers a
range of unique offerings. These include clothes, food, festivities, and more.
A visit to this incredible nation is equal to going around the world twice. The wonders on show
in India are far more beautiful in appearance and experience than in any other country. Every
corner, every street, every town, every city, and every state has something that makes you go
wow! All of this has been possible because of the rich and hustle-full past that this nation has
gone through. Be it the Golden Bird period, the Mughal Dynasty period, the British Rule period,
or the 75 years of Independence. The people, the place, and the air resonate it all.
We’ll try our best to provide an insightful brief on Indian street food because if we start
reaching beyond that, this write will turn into a long history book, only good to be read by
academics! This cuisine has started waves of craze across the US and EggHolic has played its
humble role.
It began its journey from a small store and today has a presence across the western
continent. One can find this Indian restaurant in Irving, Chicago, Niles, Schaumburg, Louisville,
Chantilly, and Queens. It has also just stepped into Canada with an outlet in Brampton.
Introduction
4. Reason Behind
The Love For
Indian Street Food
The list is never-ending, but we have tried our best to put it under four points.
The main factor leading to the rise of love for Indian street food is that it
connects with your soul.
Every platter is made of an amalgamation of special spices and ingredients
that complements each other so well that the outcome just leaves any
consumer in awe. Continue reading to know more.
5. Every Indian street food dish is unique in its own way. Moreover, the taste
comes from the hands that cook it rather than the ingredients. For example, a
Pani Puri that you may consume in Mumbai tastes completely different from
the Puchka that you may consume in Kolkata!
The Indian food in Irving or any other EggHolic outlet has platters on its menu
that offer an authentic feel. It all began with a thought that why should the US
be wary of genuine Hindustani cuisine eaten on a regular basis by most of the
subcontinental populace. And hailing from Gujarat, the founders started by
introducing the Egg culture of this region and then expanded gradually.
The taste of street food from India comes from exclusive spices. This nation is
the spice capital for a reason. All the tanginess adds oomph to the platter,
making them worth their value.
1. Taste, Taste, Taste!
6. Indian street food is comparatively more economical than other cuisines. This
makes it a go-to option for maximal peeps, thus increasing its reach. The
more people taste this wonder, the more they love it.
Every person who has tried authentic Indian food has nothing but praise for its
ability to fill up the palate with utmost satisfaction. All dishes range at the
EggHolic range from a few bucks to a maximum of $15. It offers take-out,
delivery, dine-in, and catering services.
2. Affordability
7. If you have Indian food from the right spot, such as our outlet, every dish is
made using farm-fresh ingredients. Why? Because all the Indian street food
options taste the best only when they include organic elements.
Moreover, there are very few options that can be made using pre-cooked
condiments. Most platters had to be made on the spot, and this warmth
attracts millions. The juicy veggies, lip-smacking spices, and hot Rotis just take
your breath away.
We, at the EggHolic, observe several faces in our outlets every day and all we
see are smiles and whiffs of bliss. Every platter that arrives on the table brings
a memorable aroma with it which fills up the aura with positive vibes. The
smiles utter a thousand words within seconds.
3. Freshness Of Edibles
8. Finally, street food is a phrase that more often than not goes hand in hand
with bad health. It’s not entirely wrong as there are many platters that do
harm the human body in the longer run.
Well, Indian street food has several exceptions, and we have included them all

B6, Vitamin B12, Biotin, Folate, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Pantothenic Acid,

16. EggHolic is an egg-centric Indian restaurant founded in 2018 in Chicago by cousins Bhagyesh
and Lay Patel. The idea to start EggHolic stemmed from a longing for the traditional Indian
foods found in their native India.
Having grown up in India, there was an array of flavors and food options, but their favorite was
Egg Night, a tradition not found in the U.S. From there, both Bhagyesh and Lay realized they
could bring new authentic Indian flavors, egg dishes, and street food to the United States, and
teamed up with Vilas Patil, a master chef. Soon after, EggHolic was created.
EggHolic specializes in Indian-style egg dishes, including curries, sandwiches, rice dishes, and
of course traditional street food dishes, normally served from Indian street carts. These
include kabobs dishes and samosas. In addition, a wide variety of vegetarian alternatives are
available, like Paneer Dishes, rice, sandwiches, samosas, Lassis, and many more for an all-
inclusive menu.
What started out as a love for Egg Night, has quickly expanded, and soon EggHolic will be
opening more franchise locations throughout the United States and Canada.
