Aims/Objectives:
■ This advert makes the people gain interest on eating the food product and the food
company [Doritos] shows that everybody can eat their product, even a mermaid can.
How have they advert?
 Doritos made the ad to get people interested in the product and they did it in a way
that keeps people entertained during the advert.They also use MaleGaze because
they showed the mermaid.
Target Audience:
 The target audience for this advert are the people who like to eat fast food.
 Call to Action:
This advert makes people get interested on throwing Doritos to the ocean
when fishing or doing some other work in the ocean, that why this advert
was banned, because it shows pollution on it.
■ How have Doritos tried to hook the audience into the advert?
This advert shows comedy by simply showing two people in the little
boat fishing and throwing Doritos into the ocean and suddenly it
appears a Mermaid and that makes the advertisement more
enthusiastic and more entertaining.

series:An 80-minute feature-length movie based on
the show, titled Nowhere Boys:The Book of
Shadows, premiered in selected Australian
movie theatres on 1 January 2016.A third
series of Nowhere Boys, titled Two Moons
Rising, started airing in 2016 with a new cast
