Most humans, bless them anyway, seem to have a neurosis or psychosis like many dog’s behavior oddities. Ironically, as much as they have odd repetitive, annoying behaviors like a dog, they also resemble a type of bird - parrots. Indoctrinated, lockstep mind sets are a disease of millions of these sheeple. It seems to be a hardening of the blood vessels to the brain, deadening all thinking beyond programming from societies many forms of ‘mind control machines’.
I currently reside in a wooded, upscale street off the cliffs of the Puget Sound that I walk up and down many times each week, passing many ‘assorted dogs’ who walk their owners. Three or four of the dogs seem to bark at anything, including one who barks at birds. It’s dubiously comforting to know their owners must love them inspite of their annoyances. Dogs are dogs, big or small. They can be wonderful companions, but they all have certain programmed behaviors indigenous to their specie. Only the human possesses the ability to move beyond being ‘consciously challenged’. However, as of yet, billions fail to recognize that they can manifest this starting here and now.
One place to begin is in an ‘extreme makeover’ of one’s ‘mental state and behaviors’, and to identify canned and robotic like responses with behavior patterns sometimes called ‘habits’. One must then accept that sensitivities will be challenged in a myriad of ways as one learns to assimilate into more discerning behavior patterns. One must turn ‘barks of protest’, that are sometimes painful, in raising the consciousness into an opportunity for growth, as invisible as it may seem in the moment.
Reading another’s words over and over can become a barrier to open the mind and heart to create it’s own scriptures for harmonious living. To become a conscious man or woman is to not only self create oneself into a ‘divine like’ human being, but to become an integral part of giving back that vibration to endless others to, in effect, create a more conscious, changed world that can explode into a ‘blossoming human chain reaction of consciousness’ in a few short years.
Even a single woman or man of truth and consciousness can activate a stream of positive, conscious thinking and behavior rippling throughout humanity.

Prayer is affirmation of the positive. Prayer needs no words, and is not from the mind. Praying that ‘our football team is going to win’ is pure nonsense hyperbole! Praying for the enemy is as valid as praying for your own victory. Inconsequential! Belief is a bastardization of ‘knowing what you know’. Prayer that comes out of belief is at best
‘cute’, or a sadly misplaced use of a very powerful method to filter out the negative so the positive can flow freely in.
Man, since the beginning, has lived on imagination and illusion. Pundits came along, perhaps with good intentions, and created a ‘god in the sky’, Lord, messiah, or whatever name to corral the believers, otherwise known as sheep for the controlling shepard, to make sense of chaos and fear. Teddy bears bring warmth, and a sense of love to the childlike mind, but do not serve to open the being to the ‘closeness of real love’ later. An invisible ‘daddy’ ultimately serves nothing but to distance one from the beauties of reality.
To be thankful and grateful from the heart for all that existence provides is being prayerful. Wishing or visualizing something to occur as you desire it is not prayer. Sending love from the heart to someone with no expectation of confirmation is to exercise the purity of prayer. Prayer is the focusing of love into a possible crystallization of it’s power.
Prayer is listening to god or the ‘godliness of existence’, and not asking god to listen to you! If you have something to say to god, a simple ‘yes or thank you’ is enough. My favorite meditation, after which the Center here is called is ‘the sacred yes’. Saying yes to everything without ignoring the negative.
In the silence of the mind, the benediction of prayer can arise. Religions have created the stupid notion that we can say something to God. One of many ‘idiot techniques’ for the gullible to rely on them as their ‘spokesman for god’, even though rare is the one who can verbalize what this ‘god’ is. Be free of chatter and listen to the godliness of the universe to connect with the clear inner voice of wisdom. Hearing the divine voice within you is to be reborn as the highest expression of who you are. Be thankful and grateful!

Discernment is needed to distinguish illusion from truth and stay aware so illusions cannot take hold of one's mind.

Both solitary self-love and harmonious relationships are spiritual paths, but rarely followed. It is best to quickly remove oneself from destructive, negative forces and not delude oneself into hoping they will change.

- 1. Expect ‘Nothing’! April 20, 2010 ...and youʼll never be disappointed! Frustration, let downs, and hurts, happen when one anticipates any thing desired with ʻexpectationʼ. All over the world frustration is a constant ʻdis-easeʼ of the mind rarely not from expectations that people are attached to or banking on. All over America, ʻexpectation casinoʼsʼ are flourishing for the false ʻhopersʼ that pile into cars hoping to change their lives. The ʻcasinosʼ are the new churches. Check out the filled casino parking lots on Sunday morning at these havens for the the lonely, hopeful! At the same time, millions of people dressed in Sunday fineries sit in ʻholy housesʼ praying to a ʻdeityʼ that they couldnʼt begin to define if their life depended on it. From expecting ʻmiraclesʼ to change their lives, that rarely if ever come, but for the endless trains of disappointments filling days, months, and years, there is only frustration. All that energy taxing the mind and heart could better be put to being in the moment, and making the best of it. There is little substitute for not counting ones ʻchickens before they hatchʼ or ʻputting all oneʼs marbles in one placeʼ, than that we are blessed with a mind that can access common sense. Common sense has the ability to find within, itʼs capacity to detach from all expectations. Common sense prepares for the best outcome while expecting nothing but the experience that unfolds and how best to accept it. Always itʼs a wise plan to have ʻPlan A; plan B; plan C, and perhaps ʻno planʼ! A shadow is always following expectation appearing as hurt and frustration. Everything we do, we do with expectations. If I love someone, an expectation enters without my even knowing it. I begin to expect love in return. Ironically, few ever love themselves first let alone expecting someone else to give love who likely doesnʼt really love themselves. Expecting love from someone will make love more difficult to flow back to you. The expectation will cause the other to feel an obligation or bondage of duty which will cancel any real love. Seek with the notion that existence will provide answers that challenge any expectations. Find comfort in the love within that needs no expectation, but an open heart and mind to see and feel. !
