1.2 Brief Profile of Power Plant
Prathyusha Power Gen Private Limited is the 10MW Bio-
Mass Power Generation unit which is strategically located near
Tirunelvelli Substation amidst the cluster of Paper Mills, which
attracts the Raw Materials by default.
The plant has got almost all infrastructures to meet and run
indigenously for consistent power generation. The list includes
latest weigh-bridge, Chippers, best of class Equipment, Raw
Material storage yard, handling yard, water supply, office
building, guest house, security system, two-tier boundaries and
also as part of Raw Material Supply- the short-listed and
identified lands to cater the future need of Raw Material.

The water for the plant is supplied from the underground well
dug however in order to meet the future’s enhanced supply,
the direct pipe line from the nearby perennial river is under
active consideration.
