This document examines different aspects of presidential leadership such as public communication, organizational capacity, political skill, vision, cognitive style, and emotional intelligence. It then analyzes the personality types of several U.S. presidents using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, finding that Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard Nixon scored as ESTP types while Harry Truman scored as an ESTJ and Dwight Eisenhower as an ENTJ.
