Exam procedure and conditions.
Before the exam
• Before entering the room turn your phone off
or put it on ‘plane’ mode.
• Please enter the room in silence.
• All bags and outdoor gear must be left
outside the room.
During the exam
There should be nothing on your desk apart
from:
• exam papers
• rough paper
• headphones (for listening)
• Stationery
• (no pencil cases or glasses cases)
During the exam
• If you have a question raise your hand and
wait for your examiner to come to you.
• You can ask questions about the format but
not the language.
• Cheating is not acceptable. If you cheat, you
will be asked to leave the room and you will
fail the paper.
What is cheating?
• Communicating with other candidates in the
exam room.
• Bringing any notes of any kind in any format
in to the examination room.
• Looking at someone else’s paper.
• Showing your paper to someone else.
When you have finished
• Please leave the exam papers and all rough
paper on your desk. Cross out any rough
notes you made.
• You can not leave the exam room early or at
any point during the exam.
• Silently leave the exam room.
