and safety, and corporate social responsibilities. He has experience working on various sustainability issues for national and
multinational organizations including planning, designing, implementing global sustainable development strategies, and
providing engineering, administrative and technical support through project management and coordination. He has served as
a Coordinator for The Coca-Cola Company’s Global Watershed Management Program. Dr. Niandou’s areas of expertise
include delivery of international projects for multi-national clients, environmental liability management, remedial investigations,
response action design, environmental management systems and audits, negotiations with regulatory agencies and
responsible parties, project community relations. Also, Dr. Niandou is a Energy and Climate Change specialist with experience
in optimization and economic analysis of energy projects, carbon management and energy efficiency, Renewable Energy
Technologies including biomass, biogas, landfill gas, solar power, wind power, hydropower, clean coal technology, IGCC and
other clean technologies, Oil & Gas Exploration and Production.

Dr. R. A. Khan has approx. 17 years of professional, teaching and research experience in geotechnical engineering field. He
has Extensive design and construction supervision experience in Dam and its safety, Earth Embankment, Lining of Water and
Wastewater Containment/Ponds, Water Pipeline, Pressure and Gravity Main, Retaining Structures, Shallow and Deep
Foundations, Mining and Marine Structures, etc. His expertise experience includes Numerical and Physical modeling,
Geotechnical Site Investigations, Environmental Site Assessments, Contaminated Site Management, Fill Material Assessments,
and double sheet pile wall cofferdam design.
S. M. Khan, Ph.D., P.E.
Associated Consultant - Water Resources Engineering
Dr. S. M. Khan has 15+ years of professional and research experience in water resources engineering field. She has
comprehensive project management experience in engineering contracts, and design and peer review experience in civil
engineering development projects include single family residential subdivisions, multi-family residential subdivisions, industrial
developments, light rail extensions, neighborhood improvements, road widening, etc.
She has extensive knowledge in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, FEMA floodplain studies, stormwater modeling and
management, watershed modeling and management, stormwater drainage system design, sediment transport modeling,
hydraulic design of channel/culvert/bridge/dam/levee, emergency action plan (EAP) preparation for high and medium
hazard dams, numerical modeling of mudflow and internal waves in ocean environments, etc. In addition, Dr. Khan has
expertise skill to investigate the change in Sea Floor Bathymetry due to successive events of density currents using 2-D/3-D
Computational Fluid Dynamics Models.

Associated Consultant - Structural Engineering
Dr. Shaikh has approx. 20 years of professional, teaching and research experience in structural engineering field. He has
extensive experience in structural inspection of building and dam structures, upgrading and strengthening of existing building
and dam structures, finite element modelling and analysis, analysis and design of R.C. and steel structures, and Proficiency in
