This document discusses automatic translation of content in Adobe CQ using Clay Tablet software. It provides an overview of the manual translation process, how Clay Tablet is configured in CQ, and the process for sending content to translation providers and loading translations back into CQ. Customizations are described, such as setting a flag when translations are loaded and preserving the original page version. Challenges with context loss during translation are also mentioned.

• Our site uses MSM. OOTB Clay Tablet kicks off a
workflow when content is rolled out, but we
choose to load translations into the global
structure, and then they are rolled out and
activated manually by content authors after the
translations are verified.
• We wrote a custom step to set a page property
"isTranslated" when a translated page is uploaded.
• We create a page version before and after
translations are loaded, so the original version is
preserved.
