Our son, David Fox spoke passionately today on why the theory of evolution is a bad idea scientifically and morally--- a grand slam of information, revelation and inspiration The law of "Supernatural Selection" was obviously at work in the results! We all loved it. I vote it "Best in Series" of five message this month on this topic. God willing, we will help start a movement to get the much better theory of Intelligent Design into local schools taught along side the now-largely debunked theory of evolution. Hopefully, this will protect many students from the very false scientific persuasion that science has proven there is no evidence for a creator. THERE IS!!!

3. There is NO EXCUSE to deny the
existence of God
! Romans 1:20 – For since the creation of the
world God's invisible qualities – his eternal
power and divine nature – have been clearly
seen, being understood from what has been
made, so that men are without excuse.
! Acknowledges God is invisible
! His Power and Divinity are Seen and
Understood from what has been MADE

7. ! God wants to be know as Creator. He
wants us to see his unlimited power and
divine nature through his Creation. He
wants us to be amazed by the heavens and
the earth.
! All of creation points back to HIM, the
author, creator and sustainer of LIFE.

his own eyes – Judges 17:6
! Since sin first entered humanity – mankind
has wanted to please his flesh and do what is
right in his own eyes
! A knowledge and understanding of God
always stands in the way
! Since there is a God – we are accountable
to him, and not just unto ourselves.
! God is the author and Judge of morality, he
sets the rules, he is the God, we are the
creation.

would not have to be accountable to Him.

! And we absolutely can't deny his existence
because of what has been made (there is
no other explanation).

10. What if we had a God(s) that let us do what
we want to do, to fulfill the desires of the
flesh? We would be willing to be
accountable to them.
! Man makes his own God(s). Idols and
false Gods.

11. ! But – even with false gods mankind is still
beholden to the authority of a higher power.
! How could they be tricked into believing
that they are finally free from submitting to
divine authority (and be even further
enslaved to their sin nature)?

! But how??? Man can see and understand
from all that has been made that there is a
God.
! These small, feeble nations, each speaking
their own separate languages, have no
means of ever coming up with a valid
excuse to not believe in a creator God.

13. ! Genesis 11:5-7 But the LORD came down to see
the city and the tower that men were building. The
LORD said, “If as one people speaking the same
language they have begun to do this, then nothing
they plan to do will be impossible for them.
Come, let us go down and confuse their language
so they will not understand each other.”

In recent history we have increasingly condensed
languages.
! Mathematics is already a universal language
! English is the dominate language for
worldwide science.
! I have the ability to translate most of the
worlds languages – with my phone!

more unified language?
! Although they claimed to be wise, they
became fools, and exchanged the glory of
the immortal God for idols – and now with
SCIENCE (modified Romans 1:22)
! Things that historically have been attributed
to God, have now been explained and
replaced by science
! The mysteries of the universe, the heavens,
storms and rain, health and healing, and life
itself are all now understood with science

scientists, God has been the god of the gaps.
Where there is a gap in our understanding we
have inserted God as the explanation. If that's
how you want to invoke the evidence for god,
then god is an ever receding pocket of
scientific ignorance. We are tackling the
mysteries of the universe one by one, and if you
are going to stay religious at the end of the
conversation, then god has to be more to you then
just where science has yet to tread. So to the
person who says maybe dark matter is god, if the
only reason you are saying that is because its a
mystery, then get ready to have that undone.”

! Science is not the problem, it is not inherently evil
– its wonderful.
! God gave us a complex mind to be able to use
science to explore and understand and
manipulate (for our advantage) the universe he
created
! But since evolution allows for the removal of God
from the explanation of life, it shifts how all of
science if framed – allowing all of it to be
observed and pursued from a point of view that
does not include THE CREATOR.

most defiant to God. This idea that man
has made, and continues to advance and
build by the unified language of science,
not only reaches to the heavens where
God resides, it is intended to replace God
himself.

God and his Son Jesus, people are
spiritually dead, having to pay the price for
their sins.

advancement of naturalism / materialism
and secular humanism in the first half of

Science helps us describe how the world is, but it cannot
make any judgments about whether that state of affairs is
right, wrong, good, or bad. (from UC Berkeley website

Science can not prove a moral right or wrong

If Science is your god, then it can not guide your decisions
and you are left with being able to decide for yourself what
is right and wrong. You can do what is right in your own
eyes.
! This leads to a moral degradation of society

! Uncertain if prayer in public schools will ever be
re-established, but having intelligent design
taught in schools is an attainable goal.
! If children are taught that there could be an
intelligent designer of life, an all powerful creator:
– They may believe they are accountable for
their actions
– More open to receive Jesus if they already
have a belief in an intelligent designer / creator
deity

28. Evolution: similarities between organisms prove
a they came from a common ancestor
! Its a fact that anatomic and molecular
structures are very similar. So are DNA
sequences.
! Why would a creator re-invent the wheel for
each new type of transportation vehicle.
! What are observing is common design
from a single Creator.

29. Evolution: Adaptation of a species is
observable. With mutations and enough time,
one species can evolve into a new species.

30. ! We know that natural selection allows a species to
adapt (change) so they are better suited to survive
in a particular environment.
! Thats a fact. God created variation within the
DNA code that can be differentially expressed
through sexual reproduction. (think positive and
recessive traits)
! Adaptation is necessary for the survival of a species
in ever changing and often hostile environments on
plant earth
! But the proposed mechanism for creating brand
new DNA code (new genes) has never been proven
and this process has never been observed in nature

say it is true
! Science is altruistic. It is pure and blameless.
It only goes where the facts lead it.
! Scientists are incredibly smart. Way smarter
than I am and therefore I have no right to
challenge what they say is true.
! Wrong!
! Science is so often biased, agenda driven,
politically motivated and influenced and
perverted by money.

32. Evolution is a fact because scientists, and those who
want to be taken seriously by scientists, HAVE TO
BELIEVE IT.
! There is no choice. Believe it and promote it or lose
your job and credibility.
! “Science is a philosophy of discovery, intelligent
design is a philosophy of ignorance.”
! But the truth is: “Most scientists believe in evolution
not because of the evidence, but because most
scientists believe it.”
! Some scientist really believe it and think they
understand it all, but they don't know (and often
don't care to know) all the details.

chemists in the world.
! Let me tell you what goes on in the back rooms of science –
with National Academy members, with Nobel Prize winners. I
have sat with them, and when I get them alone, not in public –
because it’s a scary thing, if you say what I just said – I say,
“Do you understand all of this, where all of this came from, and
how this happens?” Every time that I have sat with people who
are synthetic chemists, who understand this, they go “Uh-uh.
Nope.” These people are just so far off, on how to believe this
stuff came together. I’ve sat with National Academy members,
with Nobel Prize winners. Sometimes I will say, “Do you
understand this?”And if they’re afraid to say “Yes,” they say
nothing. They just stare at me, because they can’t sincerely do
it.
! I was in Israel not too long ago, talking with a bio-engineer, and
[he was] describing to me the ear, and he was studying the
different changes in the modulus of the ear, and I said, “How
does this come about?” And he says, “Oh, Jim, you know, we
all believe in evolution, but we have no idea how it happened.”

! Whether consciously or subconsciously,
mankind needs evolution to be true to
continue to pursue the desires of the flesh
without the notion of being held
accountable to God.
! I believe that there is a mixture of
deception from the enemy, as well as a
willful choosing to be ignorant to the facts,
that results in unwavering adherence to
evolution.

complex
! There is NO scientific explanation of how
the first cells came into existence through
natural processes. NONE.
! Either it just happened on its own, life came
from another place, or life was created.
! Intellectuals go on and on studying and furthering the
theory of evolution without having any idea how it all
started – and most don't even care. They just believe
it by faith.

! DNA is a code – it is instructions for

! Ink and paper (book) is the media. The
message comes from the author.
! DNA is the media, the information
imbedded in DNA sequences came from...
! Scientists say the earliest cells had DNA.
! So it is a chicken and egg question with an
obvious answer.
! You don't put ink on paper to make a
cohesive book without first having a
preconceived message or idea

45. The problem with getting new
information
! Human DNA is made up of 3 Billion base
pairs (individual letters in the code)
! These 3 billion “letters” are arranged in a
specific order – they write the code for all
the proteins to make a human
! Some of the most simple cells have only 4
million “letters” in their DNA

46. Where it all falls apart
Evolution says that the mechanism by which new
DNA codes are made (which make new, complex,
highly functional proteins) is random mutations in
the DNA sequence
! Random mutations = Random errors
! This is completely illogical and mathematically
improbable. Its logically and mathematically
indefensible.
! Odds of a single ribosome gene assembling by
chance is 4*300
! A number so large it could not possibly happen by
chance in the 13 billion year history of the universe.

divine craftsmanship of our magnificent
Creator God.
