If God Doesn’t Exist – then every man is a
god unto himself for man is the apex of
evolutionary chaos.
If God Exists – then we are not alone, are
finite compared to Him and are subject to
Him.

6. God Spoke…
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created
the heavens and the earth. The earth was
without form and void, and darkness was
over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of
God was hovering over the face of the
waters. And God said, “Let there be light,”
and there was light.

7. God Spoke…
Psalm 33:6 By the word of the LORD the
heavens were made, and by the breath of His
mouth all their host.

2 Peter 3:5 …For they deliberately overlook
this fact, that the heavens existed long ago,
and the earth was formed out of water and
through water by the word of God…

8. God Spoke…
If God didn’t Speak – then we are part of a
cosmic cat and mouse game. Righteousness
and wisdom are subjective and relative.
Moral confusion is expected and necessary.
Social order is achieved by government.
If God Spoke – then we are bound and
judged by it. God is personal and
intentional. His message is to be heard and
understood. Ignorance is foolish. To avoid
His word is insurrection and insubordination.

Genesis 1:3 And God said, “Let there be
light,” and there was light. *4+ And God saw
that the light was good. And God separated
the light from the darkness. [5] God called
the light Day, and the darkness he called
Night. And there was evening and there was
morning, the first day.

His wisdom, and by His understanding

utters his voice, there is a tumult of waters in
the heavens, and He makes the mist rise

lightning for the rain, and He brings forth the
wind from His storehouses.

The Verb To Create Meant:
Newness – something that didn’t exist before
Effortlessness – spoke with power
Instantaneous – no delay
Divine Action – God above all others

12. God Created…
Three more words of the Creation
Made (‘asah) – Construction and action on a
plan of purpose
Separated (badhal) – Separation of Light
from darkness and the gases from solids and
liquids.
Placed (nathan) – Planned and orchestrated
action of God to position all the pieces of the
universe.

13. Natural Selection
the process by which forms of life having
traits that better enable them to
adapt to specific environmental
pressures, such as predators, changes in
climate, or competition for food or mates,
will tend to survive and reproduce in
greater numbers than others of their
kind, thus ensuring the perpetuation of those
favorable traits in succeeding generations.

17. The Problem of Entropy –
Ironically, the radiometric systems that
scientists use to date the earth are based on
the decay and disintegration of radioactive
elements. So in one moment evolutionary
scientists use decay to measure age, and the
next moment they promote increasing
complexity and entropy to explain the origin
of life.

changes in descendants.

24. God Created…
If God didn’t create – then life is relegated to
the cruel and brutal system of natural
selection. Society will reflect the morality of
evolution – survival of the fittest, the
superman, euthanasia, and abortion because
life is simply a biological system.
If God did create – then life has the unique
purpose of reflecting an intelligent creator.
Creation, nature, science, mathematics etc…
become an intense road of discovery of the
Divine.

25. God Blessed…
Genesis 1:21 So God created the great sea
creatures and every living creature that
moves, with which the waters swarm,
according to their kinds, and every winged
bird according to its kind. And God saw that
it was good. [22] And God blessed them,
saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the
waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on
the earth.”

26. God Blessed…
On Day 3 – God gave two blessings
Jewish people – even today – celebrate their
weddings on Tuesday – the day of double
blessing.,

27. God Blessed…
If God didn’t Approve and Empower – the
Creator would orphan His creation or destroy
His creation. He spoke of recreation to
Noah, Moses, Paul, John and through Jesus.
A fine line of grace and purpose prevents
destruction.
If God Blessed – His creation succeeds.
Entropy is preventable. The 2nd Law of
Thermodynamics is revoked and will be seen
only as a historical fact of the curse.

28. Because God Is – we should remember Him,
ponder Him, and seek Him.
Because God Spoke – we should discover His
words in Creation and in Scripture
Because God Created – we should bow
before Him and worship the One who gives
us life.
Because God Blessed – we should be filled
with Thanksgiving and seek to Exalt God
