Before her shoot, Michelle made sure the area was clear and her actor was comfortable. She brought her risk assessment and shoot plan to refer to in order to keep herself and her actor safe. Having these documents allowed her to identify and address risks, and reference her plan to get the best shots and fulfill shoot requirements. The shoot went well without issues.

2. Evidencing my shoot
Before doing my shoot I made sure that the area I was using was clear
and that my actor was still comfortable with being part of my shoot. I
had my risk assessment and my shoot plans with me so that I knew
what I was doing and I kept looking back at these things to keep me
and my actor safe through the shoot. Having my risk assessment with
me meant that I was able to spot the risks quickly and get rid of them
before they could develop into something harmful. Having my shoot
plan with me meant that I was able to quickly reference it if I needed
to or if I forgot what shoots I needed to do so that I could get the best
out of it. I have pictures of me taking pictures of the artist, I did bring
a tripod out with me but I felt that it was in the way most of the time
and I wanted some of the photos to be portrait instead of landscape
so that I could use them more easily for my poster. I had no problems
with my shoot and everything went really well.
