• Saved $300k/yr implementing a multi-site recycling initiative, diverting more than 94% of waste from
landfills.
• Developed and directed program efforts to reduce injuries (TCI and LWDC) rates by more than 80%.

savings of over $70,000/year.

SUMMARY OF WORK EXPERIENCE:
 Served on various committees including Rohm and Haas North American Regional Safety Director Team,
Johnson and Johnson’s Process Safety Management Team, former member of Synthetic Organic Chemical
Manufacturing Association’s (SOCMA) Employee & Process Safety Committee and serve as an OSHA
Special Government Employee (SGE).
 Extensive hand-on knowledge of OSHA standards, including OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program, OSHA
Process Safety Management, HAZCOM, Emergency Response, including industrial firefighting, hazardous
materials, and emergency response.
 Experience in both pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing with a strong knowledge base in the major air
compliance/reporting/permitting requirements as well as RCRA, CERCLA, SARA, TRRP, SPDES, and SPCC
regulations. Areas of experience include implementation of environmental management systems to ensure
site regulatory compliance, and emission reduction evaluations.
 Leading various cross-functional teams, including Safety Promotion Teams, Site Safety Committees, Safety
Support Team, Off-the-job Safety Team, Site and Department Voluntary Protection Program Teams, to

 Led and developed high performance EHS Teams to become regarded as the example for other company
facilities to emulate.
