The original magazine cover design was amateurish and did not follow typical magazine cover conventions in terms of font, cover line placement, and image selection. The final front cover design has a much more professional and polished look, with a bold masthead that follows hip hop magazine conventions, an effective color scheme, well-placed and relevant cover lines, and an image utilizing a medium shot against a black background to appeal to the target audience.
