The target audience for the media product is 15-25 year olds who enjoy mainstream/pop music. The audience is gender neutral but may appeal more to females. To attract this audience, the creator formed a focus group on social media of people fitting the target criteria. Every idea and change to the product was discussed with the focus group and polls helped decide aspects. The focus group provided helpful feedback to design a magazine that would appeal to the intended target audience of young music fans.
