1. 7. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in progression from it to the full product? My preliminary is rather primitive and is truly lacking once compared to my finished product From moving on from the prelim I have learned how to use Photoshop more proficiently
2. FRONT COVER The typography used in my final product is somewhat more professional looking. Conventional magazine techniques are used i.e. Issue number, tie in and large logo. The composition of the cover lines are adequately placed around the main image in the final product whereas in the preliminary task they just run into the main image. Also the main cover line differ greatly; in my final product I introduced a border and background which separate it from the main image. In the preliminary task the main cover line simply sits atop the main image.
3. CONTENTS PAGE Immediately the difference can be seen between the two. The preliminary task is rather plain consisting of just a title and four features. Whereas the contents on the left shows further work. Multiple images and an editorial are included which show further work has been made. A better grasp of Photoshop is evident, as the pictures have been digitally manipulated (bulged), also a range of layers have been used plus the use of transformation and effects. A range of fonts are employed in the final product. The contents is in more depth as each sub heading has a little sentence briefly explaining or relating to the story.
