To create a stop motion project, the author used a digital camera mounted on a tripod to capture multiple images. They uploaded the finished project to YouTube and Slideshare and embedded it in their blog to share it professionally. They were inspired by researching other stop motion projects on YouTube. Working in pairs, they chose a scene from a TV show, took screenshots, printed and cut out characters. They made a similar background and set up the scene with the tripod to film, mimicking the original but adding their own creative storyline and setting.

1. How did you use technologies to create your product?To create my final product I used different technologies such as:- A digital camerato capture multiple images to create my stop motion project. I also used a tripod to make sure the camera was in the same position for every shot- Slideshare/Youtubeto upload my stop motion project and create a html- Embedding in my blog to allow people to view my stop motion project and make my work look professional

2. How did this task enable you to be creative?Firstly we researched YouTube to look at other people’s stop motion projects to see how it is created and get some inspiration. We were shown the opening clip from a television series called ‘The Cut’, we were told to base our stop motion project on this and in a way replicate it using recreated images of the scene.

What we did to create our stop motion project...we were put into pairs to get some ideas togetherAfter watching the opening clip from ‘The Cut’ we chose a scene from the clip we wanted to replicate, and print screened the characters in the clip to then print out and use in our stop motion projectAfter printing out images of the character we cut them out and made stick puppets. We made a background, making sure the background was similar to the background used it the actual opening clip

4. After creating cardboard cut outs of the characters we set up the scene and the tripod in a well lit environmentUsing the characters from the television programme we mimicked a small part of the scene but were able to create our own storyline and be a bit more adventurous with what we wanted to produce. For example the original clip from the cut was in the characters bedroom, instead we made the background into a spaceship.
