8. What is Assessment?
Educational assessment is the
process of documenting,
usually in measurable terms,
knowledge, skill, attitudes,
and beliefs. It is a tool or
method of obtaining
information from tests or
other sources about the
achievement or abilities of
individuals.
13. How Evaluation is done in school?
The evaluation is done by giving marks to the students based on their
performances in FA and SA. These marks are then converted to 9
point scale which is then converted to grades. Students are directly
given grades for extra curricular activities.

Besides FA’s , SA’s are

basis.

assessments, teachers
became aware whether
their learning objectives
are fulfilled or not.
17. NON – SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES
Non scholastic activities like
Yoga, music, dance, sports
and other activities moulds the
wholesome personality of
students. Value education
based on Sri Sathya Sai
Educare Programme is
implemented for character
development in students. A
healthy body alone can be the
host to healthy mind.

A salad making
competition also held
in the school, in which
a theme has been
given to students and
winner will be
evaluated on the basis
of their creativity.

As we know, sports
are activity involving
physical exertion and
skill in which an
individual or team
competes against
another or other for
entertainment.
