Our product targets females aged 16 to 24. It explores themes of femininity and ethnicity that are sometimes misrepresented in media, such as unrealistic beauty standards. By understanding our niche audience's preferences, like following celebrity lifestyles, we can create relatable characters and plot lines. We apply Blumler and Katz's theory by allowing our audience to actively interpret themes about insecurity and realistic lifestyles. While not escapist, our product aims to inform and increase awareness through alternative perspectives.
