The document summarizes techniques used in the opening of a horror film to attract and engage the audience. Quick cuts between shots of a character being strangled were used to create a sense of desperation and panic. The opening was filmed using a handheld camera technique to make the picture shaky and put the audience in the protagonist's shoes. Only background music was used without sound effects to focus attention on the disturbing images. Killing a character immediately generated questions about their importance and the killer's motives to intrigue viewers.

I have concentrated on two aspects in the movie that are: Storytelling (How to connect with your audience) and personal life learnings.
In terms of storytelling, this movie follows the Andrew Stanton model that we should not tell our audience that something is equal to 4. We should leave it at 2+2 and let the audience complete the answer on their own. Also, "The audience wants to work for their meal, they just don't want to know that you're making them do that". Participation of the audience is equally important at times to make something beautiful.
Also, in personal learnings, I have learned that the world is: unpredictable, moving at a fast-paced and won’t wait for anyone so probably a constant search for upgrade is the need of the hour.
