Looking back at her preliminary work, the author notes several ways her final product improved. She used central models and framing sell lines similarly, but developed conventions like a color scheme against a black and white background. Both contents pages listed interior sections clearly and placed the title in the top left corner, but the final version used color appeal and included a subscription box. Overall, she progressed from preliminary elements to a more fully realized magazine cover and contents page that better followed industry standards.

Looking back at my original product, it is clear that I
have used some elements in my final product.
Elements I have used are having the model central to
the page and framing them with the sell lines. I have
also used a similar font for the text and masthead.
However you can see that I have developed by using
more conventions for the magazine cover. One
convention I have used in the final product is the use of
colour scheme against a black and white background.
On my original image I used multiple colours against a
colour background which was

Both contents pages contain an even amount of
images and include a clear listing of what is inside
the magazine. These conventions, as well as having
the title of the page in the top left corner, were
used in the final contents page. However, I have
used the colour palette to make the page appealing
to readers and included a subscription box.
