The EUROSAI meeting was held on October 26, 2016 in Amsterdam. It discussed topics such as whether governments reuse their own open data resources ("do govs eat their own dogfood?"), how open "open" truly is, and attribution stacking being a barrier to data reuse. The presentation encouraged moving from a reactive to a proactive open data approach to save time and money, maintaining an inventory of available data, and ensuring data can be found at national and international levels to increase reuse. It promoted open data practices through the Open State Foundation and contact information was provided.
