Spain has diverse inland and coastal relief. Its inland relief includes the Meseta plateau divided into northern and southern parts by the Sistema Central mountain range. Spain's outer relief consists of several mountain ranges along its borders and two large river basins. Its island relief includes the Balearic and Canary Islands, with Teide being Spain's highest mountain located in the Canary Islands.
