The river Aar is the longest river with a length of 795 km.

, Geneva , Jura.
Each canton has its own constitution, and its own parliament, government and
courts.However, there are considerable differences between the individual
cantons.

Councillors .The duty rotates among the members in order
of seniority and the previous year's Vice President
becomes President.

mountain areas have a strong highly energetic ski resort culture in winter
and a hiking or mountain biking culture in summer.
• The alphorn, is a trumpet-like musical instrument made of wood. It has
become an emblem of traditional Swiss music.
