Editor's Notes

  • #5 The reasons for migration Cost savings : less paper, reduced printing and postage costs. Quicker retrieval of money : acceleration of payments. The information in electronic invoices can be fed directly into a company's payments and accounting systems. Competitiveness : e-invoicing (like others measures which contribute to the digitalisation of business processes) raises productivity and customer satisfaction Support the single Market : e-invoicing contributes to the uptake of SEPA (“Single European Payment Area”) And on the top “Contribution to the environment” : reduction of paper use, invoices are transferred automatically (no more transport needed).
