Ethnic Eats
Ethnic Eats
The food industry is one that many find quite challenging to get into.
While the single food truck on Stony Brook campus has tasty food we
wanted to take it one step further and offer great tasting ethnic meals,
switching them up daily while still serving the great foods people are
accustomed too!

The Real Situation
Overall, the food on Stony Brook Campus can be significantly improved.
● Many complain about the dining hall food being plain and bland.
● Others about how the food truck has few choices.
● We noticed very limited options for international foods to be brought
onto our very culturally diverse campus.
The problems here are simple: taste and variety.
The Answer
Food Truck Located on campus
Offering different ethnic foods
Five main dishes from each
country every other day
What We
Provide
Mission Statement:
Providing Stony Brook
students with a unique and
diverse alternative to food
provided on campus
The Food Truck has a different theme every week from Friday to Tuesday.
Most of our menu will share similar ingredients (Rice, Chicken etc.). This will cut
costs.
Since our competition (Backstreet Burger) focuses on “finger food”, our truck will
serve platters to differentiate.
