This document proposes a new ethnic food truck business to serve the culturally diverse campus of Stony Brook University. The business aims to address complaints about limited variety and blandness in the existing campus dining options. It will operate a food truck located at the Rec Center from 12-8pm Friday through Tuesday each week, focusing on different ethnic cuisines and rotating menus. The founders have pooled $35,000 in personal savings and aim to raise another $25,000 through friends/family and a Kickstarter campaign to fund the $60,000 budget.
