Studying history enables intellectual development by providing context for how events occurred. Personally, the author enjoys learning about ancient civilizations like Egypt, Greece, and Rome due to their fascinating cultures, politics, and ways of life. Overall, history must be learned so we can control our own futures instead of repeating the past.

4. Why I personally enjoy learning about
history
■ Ancient history is, and always has been, one of my favorite topics
to study.

I’ve always been interested in their way of life, their politics, their
culture, especially the arts, and just everything about these times
