I conducted my job shadow at Indian Springs Metropark. I spent the day with an environmental
interpreter at the park. The job of an environmental interpreter varies from day to day. Most days
an interpreter will educate students on the outdoors. Anything from ecosystems to wildlife. It is
an interpreter s duty to make sure anyone who wants to know more about the park, has that
information available to them. Other jobs an interpreter enjoys are trail maintenance, resource

notices that Oscar Grant is portrayed as a man who is loving and caring toward his family, but
also has a history of convictions and drug dealing experiences. As the movie continues, Grant is
shown as being a doer. Acting on situations without much thought and logic, his life has been full
of risks. By depicting Grant as having two completely different sides to him, the director does a
great job in displaying his struggles with himself as he tries to become a better man for the sake
of his family. The audience is allowed to see the humanization of Grant as the film proceeds. His
character is portrayed as flawed and misunderstood which relates to the viewers on a more

They all wear weird under garments. They are racist. They practice polygamy. They are a cult.
Women are discriminated against.
These are some of the controversies I have picked up on throughout my life when those who did not
practice the religion brought up Mormons. I ve had two insights into the Mormon religion; one
being my trip to the Kansas City temple and another being family friend s with one some might
call a hard core Mormon . After many years of these assumptions I finally acted on my curiosity
when I was granted the opportunity after a friend invited me to join them for their service. On
