Material Planning Intern Dallas, TX
• Evaluated and acquired a year’s worth of flight data using Excel as a key tool in organizing collecting non-stop schedules
• Presented a proposal to Store Managers for a new realignment of support for the six major stations that perform maintenance on
Southwest Aircraft.
• Assisted Material Planners with a Shared Business Order cleanup using the WIZARD inventory system
• Identified parts transferred out of Southwest’s inventory in an effort to identify costs of materials used on heavy maintenance
• Spot Checked collected data using the supply chain DataMart in Microsoft Access to verify prices on over 300 aircraft parts

• Studied Sustainable Tourism at The Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE) for three and a half
weeks with 15 selected students
• Visited with local farmers and discussed their experiences transitioning from traditional farming to a more organic approach
• Journeyed to the indigenous southern region of Costa Rica where the “Bri Bri” natives housed us and shared their sustainable
efforts to survive in the tropical forest
• Presented a final project on how to spread the awareness of Sustainable living within our own communities at home
