This document outlines a research study investigating differences in perceptions of technology use between novice and experienced teachers, and younger and older teachers. It presents the purpose, research questions, key concepts, literature review, research design, participants, instrument, and data analysis plan. The study uses a survey to collect data from 85 English as a second language teachers in the US on their attitudes towards technologies like computers, internet, and tablets. The researchers will use independent t-tests to analyze differences between novice vs experienced teachers and those age 29 and under vs 30 and above. Preliminary findings found experienced teachers more commonly used e-readers.
