What are the tests of fellowship with God and other Christians? What are the 3 major themes in the epistle of 1 John? What is the main purpose of 1 John?
1) The document discusses false teachings about Jesus that were a threat in John's time and may still be present today. 2) In John's day, the heresy of Gnosticism was spreading and denying that Jesus was fully human and divine. 3) An "antichrist" is defined as anyone or any teaching that denies Jesus as the Christ/Son of God or denies his humanity. 4) Modern attitudes like religious tolerance or atheism could be considered antichrist if they deny Jesus' divinity. 5) Christians are advised to ground their faith in scripture and discern teachings based on what they say about God and Jesus.
This document summarizes the stories of several individuals who set out to disprove Christianity but ultimately became convinced of its truth claims after examining the evidence. It describes how an attorney named Albert Roper conducted a legal investigation into the resurrection of Jesus Christ and concluded that the evidence supported it. It also tells the story of how journalist Frank Morison intended to write a book disproving the resurrection but instead wrote one arguing in its favor after his own investigation. Similarly, student Josh McDowell accepted a challenge to intellectually examine Christianity but eventually became a Christian after failing to refute the proof of Christ and the resurrection. The document suggests these stories illustrate how attempts to destroy Christianity have instead led people to its historical truth
This document discusses several arguments for the existence of God: the cosmological argument that everything must have a cause points to God, the teleological argument that design in the universe points to a designer (God), the moral argument that objective morality requires a moral authority (God), and the ontological argument that God must exist by definition. It also discusses the argument from the inspiration of the Bible, that if the Bible is supernaturally inspired it proves God's existence, citing fulfilled prophecies, consistency, historical accuracy, and scientific accuracy as evidence of the Bible's inspiration.

This two-volume work by Rabbi Tovia Singer explores why Judaism does not accept Jesus as the Messiah by examining passages from the Jewish scriptures. The Rabbi argues that the core doctrines of Christianity are incompatible with the principles expressed by the prophets of Israel. Additionally, the book demonstrates how Christian translators manipulated and altered passages in the Hebrew scriptures to support the idea that Jesus is the promised Messiah. The work aims to thoroughly answer why Judaism rejects Christianity's claims by closely analyzing the original texts.
The Resurrection of Jesus - A Miracle in One of Three WaysRobin Schumacher
The resurrection of Jesus is considered a miracle that can be explained in one of three ways: as a biological miracle, psychological miracle, or theological miracle. The biological and psychological explanations are seen as unlikely due to issues like Jesus' clear death by crucifixion, the empty tomb, and appearances to believers and skeptics. The theological miracle explanation of a divine resurrection aligns best with the historical evidence, including the core undisputed facts accepted by scholars, eyewitness testimony that transformed lives, and the foundation this provides for Christianity. Most rational evidence-based analyses find the theological miracle option to be the best supported.
This document discusses the unity and reliability of the Bible. It notes that the Bible was written over 1600 years by 40 different authors yet presents a coherent message about God and his relationship with humanity. The Bible has transformed millions of lives through history by its message about Jesus Christ. The recurring theme of the Old Testament is the promised coming of the Messiah, which the New Testament shows was fulfilled through Jesus.
This document provides an overview of a New Testament survey workshop covering several topics:
1. It includes devotionals on Christ saving sinners and God's mercy.
2. It outlines the agenda which discusses Paul as a complex figure, his conversion experience, and distinctive features of his letters.
3. Workshop sections explore servant leadership, problems in the Corinthian church, and characteristics of Romans.
4. The document provides review questions and instructions for upcoming assignments on New Testament books.

Seventh Day Adventism: A power point on the history and teachings of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. See notes below. Taught by John Oakes in Jakarta 1/07/2010.
This document discusses several religious and philosophical arguments for the existence of God, including revelation, visions, miracles, religious experience, the design argument, and the cosmological argument. It also addresses the problem of evil and suffering. Key points made include: Jesus is considered the complete revelation of God; the Bible is an important source of revelation; visions involve visual appearances of religious figures; miracles defy scientific explanation; religious experience involves feeling God's presence; the design and cosmological arguments point to an intelligent designer and a first cause of the universe; and the existence of evil raises questions about an all-powerful and benevolent God. Examples and scripture references are provided to support several of these arguments and concepts.
This document outlines the importance of Christ's resurrection from a Christian perspective. It discusses how Christ's resurrection was predicted, how his tomb was found empty, how he appeared and interacted with his followers after his death, and how the resurrection transformed some of Jesus' earliest doubters into believers. It argues that the resurrection validates Christianity and the Bible, and is the foundation for the existence of the Christian church today. The resurrection proves Jesus' identity as the son of God and gives believers hope of eternal life.
The document discusses the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from three perspectives - as a biological miracle, psychological miracle, or theological miracle. It argues that the biological and psychological miracle explanations fail due to historical and medical evidence. Specifically, the Romans were experts at crucifixion and ensured Jesus died, and multiple people witnessed his appearances over 40 days in various circumstances. Therefore, the best explanation as supported by historians is that God performed the theological miracle of raising Jesus from the dead, as the foundational event of Christianity.
Lesson 3 is part 1 of the conversation regarding the actual arguments toward the existence of an objective Christian worldview. In this presentation, we will analyze the cursory evidence for Christ's crucification and resurrection from the dead.

The document discusses the formation of the gospel tradition regarding Jesus' death and passion narratives. It notes that the gospel tradition formed "backwards" from Jesus' resurrection to his birth. Early Christians focused on the crucifixion and resurrection. The passion narratives came to include a narrative plot and characters like Peter, Judas, Pilate, and the Roman soldier who recognized Jesus. Debate continues around Jewish and Roman involvement in Jesus' death and how Jesus may have viewed his own death. The gospels each provide distinctive perspectives on the passion, with Mark portraying Jesus' resignation and loneliness.
The document provides an overview and summary of 1 John 1:1-4 from the Bible. It discusses how John, one of Jesus's disciples, wrote this letter to address heresies that arose in the early church such as denying Jesus's humanity (Docetism) and claiming special spiritual knowledge (Gnosticism). John emphasizes that Jesus was a real, physical person who they saw and touched, and that fellowship with God comes only through faith in Jesus as the Son of God and eternal life. The purpose of John's letter was to promote joy among believers by proclaiming the truth about Jesus.
This document provides an overview of Workshop 3 materials for a New Testament Survey course. It includes devotionals, discussions on Paul's conversion and salvation, information on Paul's letters and their distinctive features, and a discussion on servant leadership. The workshop covers Paul as a complex figure, his transformation from persecutor to apostle of Christ, key themes in his letters like freedom and justification by faith, and examines passages in Philippians and 2 Timothy. It also provides a brief discussion on martyrdom in light of following Christ.
This document discusses a fellowship exercise about people that Jesus encountered in the Gospels that were considered outsiders or unacceptable in Jewish society. It prompts reflection on whether and how modern societies, including one's own thoughts, treat some people as outsiders. It suggests Jesus focused on people's faith in Him, their relationship with God, and their actions after their encounter, calling all to repentance, forgiveness and to follow Him.
Christian Science and Scientology both claim to be religions but are rejected by most mainstream faiths and scientists. Christian Science was founded by Mary Baker Eddy and teaches that disease is an illusion that can be cured through spiritual means alone. Scientology was created by science fiction author L. Ron Hubbard and is based on concepts like past lives, immortal spirits called Thetans, and using an e-meter device during auditing sessions to eliminate engrams from past traumatic experiences. Neither faith is grounded in science and both have faced criticism for discouraging medical treatment and being more akin to pseudoscience than religion.

Jesus was crucified and died on the cross, but his followers believed he was resurrected from the dead. His crucifixion and resurrection are central events in Christianity that are commemorated during Holy Week and Easter.
This document provides an overview and introduction to Christian apologetics. It discusses defending the Christian faith through rational discourse. The ultimate goal of apologetics is to introduce people to the gospel of Jesus Christ. It covers various apologetics topics and methods. It emphasizes the importance of being prepared to give reasons for believing in Christianity and addressing common objections, while doing so with gentleness and respect.
John the Baptist saw Jesus and proclaimed him to be the Lamb of God. He was with two of his disciples when he said this. They followed Jesus, who asked them what they were seeking. They stayed with him for the rest of the day, and one of the disciples, Andrew, went and found his brother Simon and told him they had found the Messiah.
1) The document discusses Paul the Apostle's pursuit of happiness through accepting Jesus Christ, having faith, and developing community within faith.
2) Paul was originally named Saul and persecuted early Christians, but had a vision of Jesus which led to his conversion to Christianity.
3) Paul believed that in order to find true happiness one must accept Jesus, have faith in God even when things are difficult to see, and surround oneself with a community of fellow believers.
This document provides an overview of a New Testament survey workshop focusing on devotion, prayer, and Paul's letters. It discusses Paul's complex personality and background in Judaism. It outlines an activity having students discuss Paul's conversion experience. It also summarizes key aspects of Romans and notes how Paul's writings can provide spiritual relevance for different life situations. The document concludes with discussing distinctive features of Philippians and 2 Timothy regarding their contexts, themes, and leadership lessons.

This document summarizes a Bible passage where many followers abandon Jesus after he shares difficult truths with them. It then discusses why some people reject truth - they misunderstand it, are opposed to it, or are blind to it. Additionally, some want religious experiences without commitment. In contrast, genuine faith cannot walk away from Jesus once a person has truly believed and experienced his goodness. The document encourages the reader to consider whether they will remain committed to Jesus or walk away.
Dr. John Oakes taught a class on the commonly-held doctrine known as “Once Saved, Always Saved”, also known as Perseverance of the Saints. The class was taught in San Diego Nov. 6, 2014 at the Mission Center of Hope. The outline of the class was: I. Where did this doctrine come from? II. What proof-texts will the believer in this doctrine use? and III. What does the Bible teach on perseverance/falling away?
This document provides an overview and analysis of the first chapter of the Epistle of John. It discusses John's proclamation of Jesus as the eternal Word of God who existed before creation. It also examines John's purpose in writing, which was to promote fellowship with God and other believers. The document analyzes the first test of fellowship mentioned in the epistle, which is obedience. It notes that walking in darkness or sin hinders fellowship, while walking in the light through confession of sin promotes cleansing and fruitfulness.
The document provides an overview of a sermon given at First Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi on 1 John 1:1-4. The sermon discusses how John emphasizes the physical reality of Jesus in order to refute the heresy of Docetism. It also examines John's purpose in writing - to establish fellowship with believers and bring them joy by proclaiming the truth about Jesus, the eternal life. False teachings in the early church denied either Jesus' humanity or taught that special knowledge was required for salvation rather than faith in Christ.

It discusses key points from the passage, including that God is light and without darkness; we cannot claim to have fellowship with God if we walk in darkness; but if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we will have fellowship with one another and Jesus' blood will purify us from sin. It also notes that if we claim to be without sin we deceive ourselves, but if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us; and that Jesus is our advocate before the Father and the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

2. Wilderness Road-Road to being Sanctified and Sent
3. Emmaus Road-Road to Suffering
4. Jericho Road-Road to Service
5. Golgotha Road-Road to Sacrifice
1) The passage discusses God's forgiving nature and how He offers total forgiveness to humans despite their rebellion and sin against Him.
2) It notes how some people have wronged others and not received forgiveness, while others have been too hurt to forgive. However, God is different - the Bible reveals Him as a loving God who forgives totally.
3) The commentary provides background on the context and purpose of 1 John, including countering false teachings that denied Jesus' humanity or deity. It analyzes several verses about fellowship with God and the need to confess sins to receive forgiveness.

"I am the Bread of Life...I am the light of the world...I am the gate for the sheep...I am the good shepherd...I am the resurrection...I am the true vine...I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the father, but by Me." John 6:35; 8:12; 10:7,11; 11:25; 14:6; 15:1
This document defines apologetics and explains why Christians should engage in it. Apologetics is defined as giving rational defense of the Christian faith and providing reasons for one's beliefs. The Bible commands believers to be ready to defend their faith, and Jesus and Paul both engaged in apologetic activities. Apologetics helps Christians better understand and share their faith, answer questions, and prevent doctrinal issues in the church. There are different methods like presuppositional, classical, and evidential apologetics, and Scripture supports all of them. Christians are called to engage in apologetics.
This is a collection of writings dealing with the need to test all people and groups on the basis of their beliefs in Jesus coming in the flesh. We can recognize the Holy Spirit by this test of their belief.
This document contains several articles discussing arguments against the historical existence and resurrection of Jesus Christ. One article summarizes that while some myths from antiquity share superficial similarities with elements of Christianity, there is no credible evidence that Jesus's life was based on any myth. Another article examines supposed medical reasons why Jesus may not have actually died on the cross, but finds based on the documented torture and injuries that death was certain. The document encourages intellectually engaging with skeptics in a thoughtful manner to defend Christianity.
The document discusses why people refuse to believe in Jesus and the essential components of the gospel message. It explains that people refuse to believe because their hearts are sinful and they love darkness rather than light. It then outlines the gospel as: 1) Humans are sinful and spiritually dead, deserving God's wrath. 2) Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross to pay for sins, and rose again. 3) To be saved, one must repent of sins and place faith in Jesus. The gospel brings forgiveness and restores a right relationship with God.
Lesson 01 Defining Evangelism and WitnessingCMN :PPT
The passage discusses evangelism and witnessing. It explains that evangelism involves spreading the gospel message about Jesus, including His life, teachings, and the difference accepting Him makes. Witnessing refers to sharing one's personal testimony and experience of how God has worked in their life. The early disciples were commanded to spread the gospel message boldly. Barnabas and Saul were called by the Holy Spirit to preach the word of God to non-Jews. Sharing personal testimonies of how faith has impacted one's life can be a powerful form of witnessing.
Jesus was the source of grace upon graceGLENN PEASE
This is a study of Jesus as the source of grace upon grace. Out of His fullness we have an abundance of grace unmatched by any other source in the universe.
This document discusses the gospel and its key concepts. It begins by defining the gospel as the story of God revealed in the Bible, focusing on Jesus Christ. It notes that the gospel means "good news" and refers to God's salvation through the Messiah. The gospel involves sin entering humanity, our inability to overcome it ourselves, and God intervening through Jesus Christ. It also outlines the gospel as creation, fall, redemption, and fulfillment. The document then asks whether the Bible is reliable and if God exists, noting evidence from manuscripts, archaeology, prophecies, statistics, creation, conscience, and Christ that provide answers to these questions.
This document summarizes a class on Colossians 2:6-2:23. It discusses how believers are firmly rooted in Christ and established in their faith. False teachings like Gnosticism are warned against, as Christ alone is sufficient. Baptism and circumcision symbolize the changes brought by Christ. Believers are made complete in Him and their debt is cancelled. Gnosticism and asceticism add nothing beyond what is found in Christ alone.
The document provides an overview of themes and concepts discussed in a workshop on Biblical literature. It covers topics like the cosmos, God, sin, and the good life. For each theme, it lists key ideas and biblical passages as discussion points. The workshop aims to help students develop their worldview by reflecting on how beliefs about these five fundamental areas are informed by both scientific and biblical perspectives.
This document provides an overview of distinctive features of several New Testament books and letters. It discusses key passages, themes, and similarities and differences between the books of James, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, Jude, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John. It also provides a summary of a discussion on how to change the world according to John, focusing on identity, vocation, and protective boundaries. The document is for a New Testament survey class and includes devotion, updates, and discussion questions.
The document discusses several "roads" in the Bible that point to Golgotha, where Jesus was crucified.
1) The Road to Damascus represents conversion and transformation from unbelief to belief. It discusses Paul's conversion experience and what it symbolizes for Christians today.
2) The Road to the Wilderness symbolizes separation from the world, spiritual warfare, solitude, and preparation for ministry. It discusses how Jesus and John the Baptist spent time in the wilderness and what Christians can learn from this.
3) All the roads ultimately lead to Golgotha, where Jesus died on the cross as the only way to salvation and forgiveness of sins. The choice is to either accept Jesus or reject Him
This document discusses the Adventist understanding of the biblical earthly and heavenly sanctuaries and how it relates to and differs from evangelical theology. Some key concepts about the sanctuaries and their functions that are compatible with evangelical views are described. The point of departure into unique Adventist interpretation regarding an eschatological pre-Advent judgment phase is then specified.

What does it mean "taking the shield of faith"? Why does a Christian require a "shield"? What is faith? Is all faith the same? How does faith protect? Do you know how to use the "shield of faith"?
More is written about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ than of any other person in history. Why is that? What did He accomplish by dying on the cross? Why was His resurrection necessary? Is there strong attestation to Christ's resurrection? Must we believe He is alive today? How does the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth effect you?
All four Gospels -- Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John -- record the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into the city of Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, Nisan 10. This study is an exposition of John 12:12-19 and answers the question: "What's most important about Palm Sunday?"
What does "having your feet shod with the gospel of peace" mean? How does a Christian prepare their feet? Why is comparing the armor of God to the Roman soldier inappropriate? To what is this metaphor more likely referring?
What is the Christian's "Breastplate of Righteousness" described in Ephesians 6? We are often told the believer's armor is to be compared to that of a Roman soldier. Is this accurate? Study this lesson, and if possible, listen on FaceBook or YouTube by typing my name and the title or text of this study.
The first piece mentioned in the panoply of the "armor of God" for the Christian is "the belt of truth." But, what is truth? Why is it listed first? Why is it vital and what does it protect? Jesus said to Pilate, "To this end was I born, and for this cause I came into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth." (18:37)
George Washington said citizens owe a duty to defend their free government with their property and services. Haile Selassie issued an order to mobilize all able-bodied Ethiopians, including women and children, to fight the Italian invasion. The Bible passage from Ephesians exhorts believers to be strong in the Lord and put on the full armor of God to stand against spiritual attacks from Satan and fight against evil spiritual forces.
The document provides an overview of how Christians are called to "walk worthy" according to passages in Ephesians and other books of the Bible. It discusses that believers are to walk in unity, love, light, and by being filled with the Spirit. Specific instructions are given, such as putting off the old self and putting on the new, imitating God, and walking in wisdom. The goal is for believers to mature in Christ through developing humility, gentleness, patience, and by submitting to one another out of reverence for God.
What is the Bible all about? What is its purpose? How can we get the most out of studying the Bible?
This lesson is part of a series of studies entitle, "Living the Word" taught at the Lighthouse Freedom Center. These slides will help you if you're following us online on Sunday at 8:45.
In many ways Jacob is a picture of every person. We were all by nature selfish, deceitful, "graspers". Jacob is a type of our human carnal nature. But, Jacob changed! One night he wrestled with the Lord and begged for a blessing. His blessing came in the form of a changed character, reflected in his new name: Israel. Israel is a picture of a person changed by God, someone with whom the Spirit of God dwells.
A. When? The vision occurred in the year that King Uzziah died.
B. What? Isaiah saw God sitting on a throne and was overwhelmed by God's holiness, confessing his own sinfulness. A seraphim then cleansed Isaiah's sins with a burning coal.
C. Why? God then commissioned Isaiah to go and speak for God, to which Isaiah responded saying "Here am I, send me."
God's sovereignty is evident in every aspect of life. Redemption is the overarching purpose of divine sovereignty. Genesis 31 reveals God's hand and heart in Jacob's relationship with Laban, a wiley, manipulative uncle, father-in-law, employer. This chapter is filled with lots of practical, relevant lessons in God's redemption for all of us.
The document summarizes several passages from the gospels describing Jesus' interactions with various disciples and others after his resurrection. It describes how two disciples traveling to Emmaus encounter Jesus but do not recognize him, and how he explains to them prophecies about the Messiah. It also recounts how Jesus later reveals himself to the disciples during a meal and to Mary Magdalene at the empty tomb.
What prevents world unity? Why have the world’s best of intentions and brightest of minds failed, abysmally, and repeatedly to achieve world unity and peace? What are common causes for disunity and conflict among Christians? How can church conflict strengthen and improve a congregation? When is church conflict destructive? What does James say is a common cause for conflict among Christians? (Jas. 4:1) What four steps does James give believers for conflict resolution? (Jas. 4:1-3; 4-6; 7-10; 11-12)
Jacob employed selective breeding strategies with Laban's cattle and flocks in order to increase his own herds. He used visual cues and separated the stronger specimens for breeding to concentrate desirable traits. As a result, Jacob's herds greatly increased in number while Laban's decreased, allowing Jacob to acquire significant wealth before leaving Padan Aram.
How is COVID-19 different from previous pandemics in history? How does the Coronavirus compare to future pestilences prophesied in the Bible? Do you think God sent the Coronavirus as a harbinger of future pandemics? If so, what should be learn about God and ourselves during COVID-19? As Christians how should we respond to pandemics? Do you have peace and hope? Why? How is your life, currently, giving others, especially non-Christians, cause to ask you for “an answer (lit. the reason) for the hope that lies in you”? (1 Peter 3:15)
God teaches each of us using sometimes intensely painful circumstances to inculcate profound and powerful lessons. Such was the case with Jacob, the deceiver, who spent 20 years with his uncle Laban being on the receiving end of deceitfulness. Everyone, Jacob and Laban, Leah and Rachel, and Zilpah and Bilhah learn life's lessons in God's classroom, known as Genesis 29.
How has COVID-19 changed you? Has the Coronavirus in any way changed your view of yourself, of the world, and of God? If so, have these changes been positive? Explain. As much as we may value science and medicine, what inherent limitations prevent us from basing our lives on them? (2 Timothy 6:19-21) How did each of the plagues defeat a god in Egypt? (Exodus 7-12) How do you think God, the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Israel, the Lord Jesus Christ, is challenging the gods of our world today through COVID-19? (1 Samuel 17:47; 2 Chronicles 20:15-16; Zechariah 4:6)

The pervasiveness of Lying in today's World.pptxniwres
In our interconnected world, lies weave through the fabric of society like hidden threads. We encounter them in politics, media, personal relationships, and even within ourselves. The prevalence of deception raises profound questions about truth, trust, and the human condition.
Astronism, Cosmism and Cosmodeism: the space religions espousing the doctrine...Cometan
This lecture created by Brandon Taylorian (aka Cometan) specially for the CESNUR Conference held Bordeaux in June 2024 provides a brief introduction to the legacy of religious and philosophical thought that Astronism emerges from, namely the discourse on transcension started assuredly by the Cosmists in Russia in the mid-to-late nineteenth century and then carried on and developed by Mordecai Nessyahu in Cosmodeism in the twentieth century. Cometan also then provides some detail on his story in founding Astronism in the early twenty-first century from 2013 along with details on the central Astronist doctrine of transcension. Finally, the lecture concludes with some contributions made by space religions and space philosophy and their influences on various cultural facets in art, literature and film.

Lucid Dreaming: Understanding the Risks and Benefits
The ability to control one's dreams or for the dreamer to be aware that he or she is dreaming. This process, called lucid dreaming, has some potential risks as well as many fascinating benefits. However, many people are hesitant to try it initially for fear of the potential dangers. This article aims to clarify these concerns by exploring both the risks and benefits of lucid dreaming.
The Benefits of Lucid Dreaming
Lucid dreaming allows a person to take control of their dream world, helping them overcome their fears and eliminate nightmares. This technique is particularly useful for mental health. By taking control of their dreams, individuals can face challenging scenarios in a controlled environment, which can help reduce anxiety and increase self-confidence.
Addressing Common Concerns
Physical Harm in Dreams Lucid dreaming is fundamentally safe. In a lucid dream, everything is a creation of your mind. Therefore, nothing in the dream can physically harm you. Despite the vividness and realness of the dream experience, it remains entirely within your mental landscape, posing no physical danger.
Mental Health Risks Concerns about developing PTSD or other mental illnesses from lucid dreaming are unfounded. As soon as you wake up, it's clear that the events experienced in the dream were not real. On the contrary, lucid dreaming is often seen as a therapeutic tool for conditions like PTSD, as it allows individuals to reframe and manage their thoughts.
Potential Risks of Lucid Dreaming
While generally safe, lucid dreaming does come with a few risks as well:
Mixing Dream Memories with Reality Long-term lucid dreamers might occasionally confuse dream memories with real ones, creating false memories. This issue is rare and preventable by maintaining a dream journal and avoiding lucid dreaming about real-life people or places too frequently.
Escapism Using lucid dreaming to escape reality can be problematic if it interferes with your daily life. While it is sometimes beneficial to escape and relieve the stress of reality, relying on lucid dreaming for happiness can hinder personal growth and productivity.
Feeling Tired After Lucid Dreaming Some people report feeling tired after lucid dreaming. This tiredness is not due to the dreams themselves but often results from not getting enough sleep or using techniques that disrupt sleep patterns. Taking breaks and ensuring adequate sleep can prevent this.
Mental Exhaustion Lucid dreaming can be mentally taxing if practiced excessively without breaks. It’s important to balance lucid dreaming with regular sleep to avoid mental fatigue.
Lucid dreaming is safe and beneficial if done with caution. It has many benefits, such as overcoming fear and improving mental health, and minimal risks. There are many resources and tutorials available for those interested in trying it.
Lição 12: João 15 a 17 – O Espírito Santo e a Oração Sacerdotal | 2° Trimestr...OmarBarrezueta1

Introduction
Mantra Yoga is an exact science. "Mananat trayate iti mantrah- by the Manana (constant thinking or recollection) of which one is protected or is released from the round of births and deaths, is Mantra." That is called Mantra by the meditation (Manana) on which the Jiva or the individual soul attains freedom from sin, enjoyment in heaven and final liberation, and by the aid of which it attains in full the fourfold fruit (Chaturvarga), i.e., Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. A Mantra is so called because it is achieved by the mental process.

6. Gnosticism
two fundamental errors:
A “new” theology - a denial of the
incarnation.
Docetism: did not believe God became man in
Jesus Christ; He merely seemed to have a body.
Cerinthianism: claimed that the divine Christ
descended on Jesus at his baptism but departed
before the crucifixion, a view known as. This latter
view seems to be in the back ground of much of 1
John.
7. Gnosticism
two fundamental errors:
A “new” morality - claimed
“to have reached such an

8. A Series of Tests

Determine Authentic Christianity
In response to the “new” theology, John provides us
with a doctrinal test: What does the person believe
about Christ?
In response to the “new” morality, John provides us
with a moral test: How does the person respond to the
commandments of Christ?
Finally, he provides us with a social test: Does
the person love other Christians faithfully?
