This document is a welcome letter from Sebbi Chacko, Vice President of AIESEC Baroda, welcoming the recipient to their Global Community Development Program internship. 1. Greetings,
I am Sebbi Chacko, Vice- President for iGCDP at AIESEC Baroda for the year 2013-14. Firstly, Congratulations
for being matched through Global Community Development Programme (GCDP).
You are taking a positive step towards contributing to the development of yourself and the people around you.
Your internship is very essential essence for our development of the society. This internship contributes to our
AIESEC’s GCDP Programme. Coming to this internship will provide you with cross- cultural environment,
opportunities to create positive impact and for y our personal and professional development. Your experience
really matters in whatever we do in our actions and in our activities.
Taking AIESEC as a platform for your experience, is a good choice to explore your potential and for your

About Baroda
Baroda is a multicultural city, situated in the western region of Gujarat (India). Our city is well cultured; the

AIESEC Baroda
AISEC Baroda is one of the performing and best Local Committees in India. We are 17 years old, since 1996,
we been delivering lop many experiences. We are pioneering in GCDP programme. Our members are highly
motivated and believe in what they do. You will be part of AIESEC Baroda soon, Live upto it and have amazing
experience.
Our Projects
Indigenous People: Project Indigenous people is a LC Based project, which will be carried out by the Local
Committee, Here NGO will act as learning partner/Supportative partner. HR will be from AIESEC Baroda.

2. Project Indigenous People is a for the development of the tribal people/ village people who are not exposed to
the world. The project will take place in city area, outskirts of the city and in the main village. This project will
give you better understanding of different communities and life style of people.
Footprints: Footprints is a project for Child Education and for Child Development. We have different NGO’s
which work for this issues. Below are the NGO name and their activities that caters too.
Vikas Jyot Trust : Vikas Jyot Trust is a NGO, which will work with AIESEC. Here, NGO is our partner, who
takes interns for the betterment of the street/slum children. HR is from AIESEC Baroda side at the initial
stage. In this NGO, interns will be working for Child Education and for Child Development. We hope, you use
your skills and learning in the best possible way.
Vikas Trust: Vikas Trust is a NGO which works for CSR and for rural development. This project is
NGO based which is carried out by the NGO itself. Working with this NGO will give you a better
understanding of the changing trend of the city.
The Blue Bird Foundation: The Blue Bird Foundation works on a Project “Vadodara Causes”. We
have partnered with the NGO. This project is NGO + LC Based, which will be carried out by the
NGO. In this project you will be working for the community development. For more information you

What We expect from You
 YOU are our Customer and you define what we do is relevant of not, we expect that you
should know your WHY? PURPOSE and Benefit of taking up this internship.
 We expect co-ordination from each and every one of you. We can successfully delivered
experiences with your support and with all your commitments.
 Understand Indian Culture and Behavior.
 You will be participating in other AIESEC events and forums, which will give an add on to
your experience.
Prepare Yourself:
 Prepare yourself with Basic AIESEC knowledge. You can ask your EP manager/buddy to
provide you with necessary knowledge.
 Prepare yourself for cultural shock and set you goal.
 Have training on the Exchange Program policies.
 Prepare yourself fully with Health related.
 You can find EP contract in this package, You need to fill up and bring it here. Your Matched
status will change once you submit the EP contract.
 You kind find the Induction Document, please go through it. It is important for us to have
all those knowledge during your internship.
 Before your arrival, make sure you do proper expectations and goal setting with your TN
Manger.
