Entertainment is the magic.
“Entertainment is the Magic” is a global creative & storytelling artwork platform designed by Curtis
Edwards. The platform is built using a recipe that has two main ingredients to make creative and sto-
rytelling artwork really, really, really strong. Be careful when you use this recipe- it’s strong and you
just need a little bit to go a long way.
	 1. DISSRUPTION
	 2. YOU’LL KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS
How does it work? First you need to look at what everyone else is doing and then strive to do some-
thing completely new by asking the question - when I see this CREATIVE WORK out in the market,
will I know what time it is when I see it? Is this time completely own-able by our brand or are we bor-
rowing on someone else’s time?
I live and breathe Dissruption and for more than two decades it’s been the secret to my clients’
unprecedented success. “You’ll know what time it is” is a powerful tool that I have developed to
create truly dissruptive creative. Dissruptive creative is a nuclear-powered version of the old creative
Disruption framework that has been widely used for over a decade. DISSRUPTION is different be-
cause it is way more powerful. The double “S” in the name stands for “super-steamy.” This framework
focuses solely on 1. unusual or out of place presentation or placement and 2. highly-exaggerated
presentation that often blur the lines between reality, fiction and entertainment. By combining two
powerful forces: DISSRUPTION and ENTERTAINMENT IS THE MAGIC, you have the ingredients to
create entertainment and experience platforms that audiences enjoy and that capture attention.
When these two forces join, you have the recipe for a highly volatile and nuclear brand experience
that tells the world that your brand’s time is right now. With this type of creative framework, it is possi-
ble to get other people to gladly pay for your advertising, your brand experience and your marketing
while you make a profit.
That’s right— it is possible to get other people to gladly pay for your advertising, marketing and ex-
perience design expenses. If customers love your advertising so much, why not make it so good that
they will line up and offer to pay you for the pleasure? Why not turn that 30-second TV spot that whis-
pers into an experience that shakes down Hollywood? Why are you paying your agency to make ads
that people skip or mute? You need to go Hollywood-style and go with Entertainment is the Magic.
When you experience Entertainment is the Magic, you won’t feel anything at first— but you will and
by then it’s too late. Your customers will be begging for more and paying you for it. That’s when you’ll
know what time it is and what you need to do.

PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL Exhibit 1 Entertainment is the magic. “Entertainment is the Magic” is a global creative & storytelling artwork platform designed by Curtis Edwards. The platform is built using a recipe that has two main ingredients to make creative and sto- rytelling artwork really, really, really strong. Be careful when you use this recipe- it’s strong and you just need a little bit to go a long way. 1. DISSRUPTION 2. YOU’LL KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS How does it work? First you need to look at what everyone else is doing and then strive to do some- thing completely new by asking the question - when I see this CREATIVE WORK out in the market, will I know what time it is when I see it? Is this time completely own-able by our brand or are we bor- rowing on someone else’s time? I live and breathe Dissruption and for more than two decades it’s been the secret to my clients’ unprecedented success. “You’ll know what time it is” is a powerful tool that I have developed to create truly dissruptive creative. Dissruptive creative is a nuclear-powered version of the old creative Disruption framework that has been widely used for over a decade. DISSRUPTION is different be- cause it is way more powerful. The double “S” in the name stands for “super-steamy.” This framework focuses solely on 1. unusual or out of place presentation or placement and 2. highly-exaggerated presentation that often blur the lines between reality, fiction and entertainment. By combining two powerful forces: DISSRUPTION and ENTERTAINMENT IS THE MAGIC, you have the ingredients to create entertainment and experience platforms that audiences enjoy and that capture attention. When these two forces join, you have the recipe for a highly volatile and nuclear brand experience that tells the world that your brand’s time is right now. With this type of creative framework, it is possi- ble to get other people to gladly pay for your advertising, your brand experience and your marketing while you make a profit. That’s right— it is possible to get other people to gladly pay for your advertising, marketing and ex- perience design expenses. If customers love your advertising so much, why not make it so good that they will line up and offer to pay you for the pleasure? Why not turn that 30-second TV spot that whis- pers into an experience that shakes down Hollywood? Why are you paying your agency to make ads that people skip or mute? You need to go Hollywood-style and go with Entertainment is the Magic. When you experience Entertainment is the Magic, you won’t feel anything at first— but you will and by then it’s too late.
