Enterprise Access is a powerful add-on tool available to eFileCabinet Online customers that allows a Corporate/Headquarter Entity access to any of their satellite/remote offices as well as the ability to log in to satellite accounts in other (remote) offices from any location. The level to which the Corporate Entity can access satellite accounts is set up by eFileCabinet at the Corporate Entity’s request. This functionality is especially convenient for larger companies with multiple offices or branches and is a useful auditing tool.

1.0 Enterprise Access (EA)

Introduction Enterprise Access is a powerful add-on tool available to eFileCabinet Online
customers that allows a Corporate/Headquarter Entity access to any of their
satellite/remote offices as well as the ability to log in to satellite accounts in
other (remote) offices from any location. The level to which the Corporate Entity
can access satellite accounts is set up by eFileCabinet at the Corporate Entity’s
request. This functionality is especially convenient for larger companies with
multiple offices or branches and is a useful auditing tool.
EA Permissions
EA provides a variety of permission levels, including the ability to have free
audit access to all accounts, and can be customized to allow someone to
operate as a remote administrator. Permissions are granted based on
Corporate Entity request.
Examples of user permissions levels include:
V= View/Preview
O = Open/Download
E = Edit
D = Delete
A = Administrate (All permissions and general access to an item)
Enterprise Access was intended for viewing only but has full capability and can
be customized for each Corporate/Headquarter user. Upon purchase of the EA
Add-on, the Corporate Entity will designate which employees are granted
access, their permissions level, and their email addresses. Permissions are
then set up for users by eFileCabinet. Future alterations are limited by the level
of access the Corporate Entity has been granted. Satellite offices cannot alter
permissions at any level. Satellite offices will still maintain private file cabinets
that are not viewable by the Corporate Entity. Any new cabinets created after
permissions are granted are not included and will only be viewable by the
satellite office.

Process The following steps outline how to utilize Enterprise Access.

Log in to your eFileCabinet Online account.

Click on the Enterprise Access Icon at the far right of your eFileCabinet toolbar.

The Enterprise Access Search Box will appear. All satellite office accounts that are linked to this
corporate account will be displayed.
There is no limit to how many satellite accounts may be included. You may search for an account by
typing the name in the Search Accounts dialog box. This is very helpful for businesses with multiple
satellite accounts in their EA list.
Click on the desired account.

You will then be prompted to enter the password for this account, which is the same password as your
eFileCabinet Online password. This is an additional layer of security, required to avoid possible file
security breaches.

In this example, the Corporate Entity has been granted View/Preview and Open/Download permissions
for this satellite office only, as designated by the Corporation upon set-up. This means that the Clients
and Corporate cabinets of this satellite location are able to be viewed. In this example, this satellite
account also has a Personal cabinet which is not viewable to this user, as they have not been granted
permission to View this cabinet.
View and Open Access permissions allow this user to view all files contained within the Clients and
Corporate cabinets, as well as download the files if a copy is required.
To change or add permissions, please contact eFileCabinet Support at 877-574-5505.

To return to your Home Account, simply click on the Enterprise Access Icon again.

Select Return to Home Account from the Enterprise Access Search Box.Your screen will refresh and
you will be returned to your Home eFileCabinet Account.
