as well:
 Anglo-Saxon
 Latin
 Old Norse and even French
 Greek
 Spanish
The English language, spoken now, was
born in the days when the British
writer William Shakespeare started to
become famous. We are talking about
the late sixteenth and early
seventeenth century.
English in Panama
• Through the Law # 2 of January 14, 2003 in the Republic of Panama
teaching English language became mandatory in all official schools.
• English is the official business language in our country
English is the most common foreign
language. This means that two people
who come from different countries (for
example, a Mexican and a Swede)
usually use English as a common
language to communicate. That’s why
everyone needs to learn the language in
order to get in touch on an international
level.
