This document summarizes an eTwinning collaborative project between two European schools in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The project involved students aged 12 using the textbook "Project" to complete joint projects online. Some of the projects included presentations about their countries, towns, schools, as well as topics like animals/pets, history, and food. The students communicated via an eJournal online and also exchanged Christmas cards, Valentine's cards, photos and videos via post and Skype. The project aims to put textbook ideas into practice in a cross-curricular way while also allowing students to learn about another culture and practice English. Students enjoyed learning with and about their foreign peers through the meaningful projects.

21. What about pupils ??? Projects initiate me a ningful learning, pupils „want“ to learn They enjoy the communication with the foreign friends Projects strenghten and extend pupils´ knowledge They compare their life with the life in a different country They work both on their own and in the project groups In the project learning everybody finds „what he fancies“ Pupils´attitude to the foreign language changes, it is natural to communicate in this way with foreign nations We give the children the opportunity to find a foreign friend, we help them communicate, we introduce them „the world“
