RED HEN
Once upon a time, there was a little red
hen who lived on a farm. She was friends
with a lazy dog, a sleepy cat, and a noisy
mouse. One day the little red hen found
some kernels on the ground.
The little red hen had an idea. She
would plant the kernels. The little
red hen asked her friends, “ Who will
help me plant the kernels?”
“Not I”, barked the lazy dog.
“Not I” purred the sleepy cat.
“Not I” squeaked the noisy mouse.

“Then I will”, said the little red
hen.
Then, I will
So the little red hen planted the kernels by
herself. When the kernels had grown, the little red
hen asked her friends.

When all the corns were
harvested, the little red hen

main character. The characters are the actors in the

Remember
A Paragraph is group of sentences that tells
about a topic.
Descriptive writing is a skill that needs to
be developed. Writing simple sentences is a
good start to enhance this skill.
Character and setting are the important
elements of a story. We need to be familiar
with them. We have to describe them so that
we will fully understand the story that we are
reading.
Safe School
Learners from Handa Elementary School promote
healthy habits to fight the Coronavirus Disease.
They practice two (2) meter physical distancing in all
school facilities. Learners also wear a clean face
mask every day. They regularly wash their hands
using soap and apply alcohol for disinfection. School
janitors habitually clean and disinfect objects and
surfaces commonly touched by the learners. They
are all helping to maintain a clean and safe school
environment.
