Introduction:
Cinnamon is the second most important spice that is sold throughout the world.1 The
word Cinnamon originates from the word cassia. Cassia is the meaning of a plant that
mainly contains leguminous genus. Cinnamon bark originates from the culivtated
trees of Cinnamomum zeylanicum Nees, Lauraceae.2 Cinnamons usages include:
flavoring for foods, medicinal purposes, agricultural needs, and pesticides. Cinnamon
does not have a chemical structure, which is replaced for Cinnamaldehyde, which
covers 97% of cinnamon. Figure 1 illustrates the chemical structure of
Cinnamaldehyde. Terpenoids and isoprene s are located in the volatile oil of
cinnamon, which play a major role in the color and odor of cinnamon. Cinnamon has

As I walked into the classroom, I noticed many visuals, hands on materials, child
size tables and chairs. The visuals around the classroom were pictures/ descriptions
that can help the children identify things around the room. For example: centers, a
word wall that consisted of sight words that they have learned in the past and
words that are being added, shapes and colors, a calendar, classroom rules, and a
sign language chart so that the children can learn his or her alphabets in sign
language. In addition, the children s authentic artwork were posted on the art
board. For a large group of 15 children, the classroom space was very limited. In this
specific classroom, the ratio was 2:15 (1 teacher, 1 aide and 15 children) and this
classroom isn t shared with another class. The classroom has two long tables with
six chairs per table: six red chairs and six blue chairs. The cooperating teacher
explained that she has a red table and blue table because she wanted to separate
specific friends due to behavioral issues. For circle time, the teacher has a rocking
chair right in front of the circle time mat and everything on the circle time board is

Christine E. W .Bond and Samantha Jefferies used NSW administrative court data
from January 2009 and June 2012 to report multivariate analyses of the sentencing of
domestic and non domestic violenceoffences. The research conducted consisted of

I walked into my living room, plopped down on the couch and picked up my
television remote. When I turned on the television I arrived just in time to witness a
man being violently shot in the head as a product of a drive by shooting. To my
dissatisfaction, I quickly changed the channel to the supposedly child friendly
Cartoon Network to view a more decent program. Unfortunately, not even Cartoon

The enthalpy of combustion of naphthalene was experimentally determined to be
5030.44 В± 78.98 kJ/mol which was a 2.5% error from the literature value of 5160
В± 20 kJ/mol.2 The theoretical enthalpy of combustion of solid naphthalene was

due to Egypt s strong bond with their gods and goddesses and their mythological
beliefs. The gods and goddesses and the myths were the foundations of Egypt s
cultural structure. The Egyptian gods were vital in the religion and culture of Egypt.
The gods were the explanation for life, death, basically everything about on earth and
in our universe. The most popular gods were Ra, Osiris, Isis, Horus, Seth, and
Anubis. Ra was the god of the sun and creation. He was often depicted as a hawk
headed man with a sun disk; he may also be depicted as a scarab beetle. Osiris is
the god of life, death, and the afterlife. Osiris has the appearance of a mummified
Pharaoh; he wore an Atef crown with feathers on the sides, and held a crook and
flail, the tools of a Pharaoh. He had green skin, with meaning rebirth to the
Egyptians. Isis was the wife of Osiris, and the mother of Horus. She was also the

Transforming tales
European folktales, through their malleable nature, embody a dynamic role in
cultural history. These tales, and further their adaptions, provide insight into varying
time periods and spaces. The modifications of tales and the varying interpretations
surrounding them, provides much information in this. Several popular and enduring
fairy tales, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Puss in Boots, and Sleeping Beauty
will be examined in this essay. By tracking the changes of these tales the deeper
implications regarding differing societies and period can be gained.
The Little Red Riding Hood tale as it exists today remains quite different to the
original peasant tale. The original tale was marked by much more violence and
was not always subject to the same happy ending associated with the story today. In
fact, the happy ending which exists in the Grimm edition of the story exists only
because it was added by the storyteller, Jeanette Hassenpflug who borrowed it from
another popular German tale, the Wolf and the Kids (Darnton 11). Jack Zipes
describes how throughout the nineteenth century the Perrault version was generally
garnished and transformed into a tale with more delicacy and ornateness, primarily
