QWave Fund will invest 10 million rubles in 'Photonic Nano-
Meta Technologies' (PNMT) and another 30 million rubles will
be allocated as a grant from the Skolkovo Fund.
Project
At present PNMT has achieved the following:
Conducted primary research showing the reduced time of spontaneous emissions from diamonds’ NV-
centers by up to 10 times, through the use of a hyperbolic metamaterial (HMM);
A patent search was conducted on thesubject; it showedgreat opportunities to patent the technological
solutions which will be used in the creation of the product;
Market research into potential applications of nano-sized generators of single photons was
conducted, which showed high product commercialization potential.

The total volume of the potential markets for the year 2011: $12.2 billion (358.1 billion rubles). 2016: $19.3
billion (566.5 billion rubles). The average annual growth rate is projected as 9.6%.

4. Intersoft Eurasia 4
JSC "Intersoft Eurasia" (operated by DO-RA) and the
U.S-based company Predicus signed a long-term
(10 years) strategic partnership agreement.
According to the agreement, Predicus will assist
JSC "Intersoft Eurasia" in evaluating, formulating and implementing strategies for DO-RA project
commercialization, and will also assist in marketing strategy and positioning in the markets of North
and South America, South East Asia, Australia and Europe.
The Nature of the Innovation
The "DO-RA" project is a mobile phone (smartphone) – based dosimeter-radiometer using a unique sensor
of hard alpha, beta and gamma radiation. “DO-RA" control is performed by specially developed software
and runs on a licensed operating system used by mobile devices.
Main advantages
The sensor is based on a semiconductor detector and can be initially integrated into the phone or used as
an additional device. The latter option works through a USB-port, or remotely (via Bluetooth or Wi-
Fi), thus creating a modular mobile dosimeter-radiometer "DO-RA".
Market and usage
Nuclear industry, medicine, emergency, MVD, FSB, customs, phyto-sanitary and vet control, the army and
navy, air and space.

5. Gazohim Techno 5
Documents were signed onALLTECH Group enteringthe “mini-GTL” Gazohim
Techno Ltd’s project (a compact plant for processing gas into synthetic oil). The
partner brings to the project not only significant financial resources, but also key
business-building expertise in the industry.
The Nature of the Innovation
The purpose of the project - the commercialization of "mini-GTL" technology, - Creating the world's first
viable small-scale GTL installation capable of effectively monetizing small gas resources of raw gas materials
(associated gas, biogas, methane, natural gas, etc.)
The business essence - production licensing and "mini-GTL“ units sales, which are designed for the
processing of natural and associated gas into synthetic oil and products of higher added value.
Technology - a joint Russian-British project, whose technological and economic synergy is achieved by
combining two innovative units in one set: POX (partial oxidation) by "Gazohim Techno" Ltd. and
microchannel Fischer-Tropsch reactor by Oxford Catalysts PLC Group (www . oxfordcatalysts.com).

The target size of the market in Russia - to 20 billion.nm.cubic meters / year of gas combusted (over USD
5 billion), in the world - more than 150 billion.nm. cubic meters / year (up to USD 38 billion).

The company "Photonics" conducted the first sale of the stLase laser
system in Russia.
There are also plans to start selling in South Korea.

LLC "Photonics" creates and delivers new laser surgery medical systems for soft and hard tissues
to the domestic market, and works in close partnership with the international companies “Dental
Photonics” and “Laser Abrasive Technologies”, as well as with leading Russian institutions and
organizations.
stLase System is the first multifunction laser platform for dentistry. This
compact laser device consists of a main console, equipped with a 7-inch
interactive touch screen, and application modules for various procedures
and treatments which are attached to the side of the console.
Market
In Russia there are about 15,000 surgical hospitals (70,000 surgeons). Also there are 13,000 dental clinics
and offices (60,000 dentists), with target market for "Photonics” comprising40%. About 85% of Russia's
population (122 million people) suffer from periodontal diseases.

7. TPS Mobile 7
V.P.Lebedev and A.Malygin were given an award from the Russian Government
"For the development of the theoretical basis, the introduction into clinical
practice and the development of technical support for the "Mezodientsefalic
modulation” method underlying the “TPS Mobile” company project.
The Nature of the Innovation
The project’s goal isthe development, certification and international market launch of a range of medical
devices and methods for the treatment of sensorineural hearing loss (SHL) and tinnitus.
The main advantages
The novelty of the solutions is to use a unique patented technology of selective transcranial
electrostimulation (TES) on the protective mechanisms of the brain with a pulsed current in combination
with the acoustic impact on the hearing organ tones.
The use of the combined effects of TES-therapy and audio-effects led to hearing improvements in 89% of
patients with acute SHL. In the group of patients with chronic SHL, hearing improvements were found in
64%; ear noise was stopped in 35%; the tone changed, became intermittent, or less intense by 5-10 dB in
59% of patients.
Market
Audiological equipment market according to “Audiological Devices - Global Strategic Business Report” will
reach $ 26.2 billion by 2017.

"The Center for Applied Networks Research" SE will receive a 5 million ruble
grant from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation
for the establishment and development of national platforms with open
source aimed at managing software configurable networks (SCN)
The Nature of the Innovation
CANR's main task under this contract is an assessment of the possibility of using SCN technology to improve
computer network management in the data centers (DC). Research results will be a prototype of network
management and data flow in the data center based on the SCN approach, using the distributed network
operating systems.
About
The Center of Applied Networks Research (CANR) is a research project to develop technologies and products
for next-generation computer networks. In the case of successful research, CANR will result in the first
Russian switch for software-configurable network (SCN), application development tools for SCN-based
networks, SCN-networks system control and safety utilities, intrusion detection for cloud
platforms, virtualization and date storage systems for data centers and cloud computing. The results of the
research will become the basis for creating the company's own networking systems production in Russia.

The “Rock Flow Dynamics” Company realized the sale of licenses
to the Japanese National Petroleum Corporation JOGMEC.

According to a report prepared by “Berg Insight” analysts, the number of M2M connections to mobile
networks grew by 37% around the world in 2011, reaching 108 million. In the next five years, the overall

“RealSpeaker” Ltd. launched the first consumer version
of speech recognition and speech-to-text software.

RealSpeakeris a video expansion program to increase the accuracy of audio speech recognition. The goal is
the creation of a highly accurate custom audio-visual speech recognizer, through which one could not only
easily transfer it to text, but also to control equipment and devices by voice.
The main advantages
RealSpeaker‘s accuracy is higher compared to similar programs. This is achieved by analyzing lip
movement. The technology is integrated with Google Voice Search.

According to TechNavio research there is now only 15-20% of the market potential in speech recognition
being used. In this case, the countries of North America accounted for 70% of the speech recognition
market. The total forecast of speech technology expenses in 2010 was predicted by TechNavio as $613
million . And in 2013, the market for speech recognition will reach $933 million (with a growth rate of 15%

The company "SPUTNIKS" is a subsidiary of LLC RDC “SCANEX”, which for many years has been specializing
in the collection, processing and dissemination of remote sensing data (www.scanex.ru).
Several years ago, LLC RDC “SCANEX” created a Department of Satellite Technology, aiming to develop a
system of small spacecraft orientation for a specific project. In late 2011 specialists from the department
formed the company LLC "SPUTNIKS" and engaged in independent work in the field of orientation and
stabilization systems for small spacecraft, stands and software for functional ground testing.
