Energy can exist in different forms and be converted between forms. Energy conversions can be expressed through equations showing one form of energy being transformed into another. Examples of energy conversions include chemical energy in rocket fuel being transformed into thermal, kinetic, and gravitational potential energies. Another example is solar energy being converted to electrical energy and wasted as heat energy. Biological systems also involve energy conversions.

2. What are energy conversions?
 “Energy transformation or energy conversion is the process of changing one form of
energy to another. In physics, the term energy describes the capacity to produce certain
changes within a system, without regard to limitations in transformation imposed.
Changes in total energy of systems can only be accomplished by adding or removing
energy from them, as energy is a quantity which is conserved (unchanging), as stated by
