EndNote allows users to collect multiple references from RULDiscovery. The document outlines the steps to save references from RULDiscovery to EndNote: 1) Click the blue folder icons next to references to select them, turning the icons yellow. 2) A dialogue box will appear confirming additions to the folder; click to open the folder view. 3) Click "Export" to transfer referencing information for all folder items to EndNote in RIS format. EndNote will then automatically open displaying the new references.

The first time you
open EndNote,
you’ll see this
short slideshow
on its different
features.
You can watch the
slideshow or close
it by clicking the
cross in the right
hand corner of it’s
window.
To save multiple references, click
the blue folder icons next to the
resource titles, so they turn yellow

At the top of the screen, this dialogue
box will tell you that resources have
been added to your folder. Click to open
the folder view.

appear on this page
You can use
the tick
boxes to
select
individual
resources
To transfer the referencing information to
EndNote for all the resources in the folder,
click on the ‘Export’ button.

This is the Export Manager, to get the
information to EndNote, click the radio
button for ‘Direct Export in RIS Format’.
It’s probably safe to click the
‘Remove these items after saving’
tick box, as your resources will now
be saved in EndNote and can be
easily accessed again.
To finish click the
save button

EndNote will automatically open and
display your references in your library.
